39But it cameוַיְהִ֗יvay.HiH1961about at the endמִקֵּץ֙mi.KetzH7093of threeשָׁלֹ֣שׁsha.LoshH7969yearsשָׁנִ֔יםsha.NimH8141,that twoשְׁנֵֽי־she.nei-H8147of the servantsעֲבָדִים֙'a.va.DimH5650of Shimeiלְשִׁמְעִ֔יle.shim.'IH8096ranH1272awayH1272to Achishאָכִ֥ישׁ'a.KhishH397sonבֶּֽן־ben-H1121of Maacahמַעֲכָ֖הma.'a.KhahH4601,kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Gathגַּ֑תGatH1661.And they toldוַיַּגִּ֤ידוּvai.ya.Gi.duH5046Shimeiלְשִׁמְעִי֙le.shim.'IH8096,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “Beholdהִנֵּ֥הhi.NehH2009,your servantsעֲבָדֶ֖יךָ'a.va.Dei.khaH5650are in Gathבְּגַֽת׃be.GatH1661.”

40Then Shimeiשִׁמְעִ֗יshim.'IH8096aroseוַיָּ֣קָםvai.Ya.komH6965and saddledוַֽיַּחֲבֹשׁ֙vai.ya.cha.VoshH2280his donkeyחֲמֹר֔וֹcha.mo.RoH2543,and wentוַיֵּ֤לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980to Gathגַּ֙תָה֙ga.tahH1661to Achishאָכִ֔ישׁ'a.KhishH397to lookלְבַקֵּ֖שׁle.va.KeshH1245for his servantsעֲבָדָ֑יו'a.va.DavH5650.And Shimeiשִׁמְעִ֔יshim.'IH8096wentוַיֵּ֣לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980and broughtוַיָּבֵ֥אvai.ya.Ve'H935his servantsעֲבָדָ֖יו'a.va.DavH5650from Gathמִגַּֽת׃mi.GatH1661.

41It was toldוַיֻּגַּ֖דvai.yu.GadH5046Solomonלִשְׁלֹמֹ֑הlish.lo.MohH8010that Shimeiשִׁמְעִ֧יshim.'IH8096had goneהָלַ֨ךְha.LakhH1980from Jerusalemמִירוּשָׁלִַ֛םmi.ru.sha.LimH3389to Gathגַּ֖תgatH1661,and had returnedוַיָּשֹֽׁב׃vai.ya.ShoH7725.
