Matthew 4:13-25
13and leaving Nazareth, He came and 1settled in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali. 14This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet:15“2The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, 3By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the 4Gentiles--165The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great Light, And those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, Upon them a Light dawned.”
176From that time Jesus began to 7preach and say, “8Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
189Now as Jesus was walking by 10the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, 11Simon who was called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19And He said to them, “12Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” 20Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. 21Going on from there He saw two other brothers, 1314James the son of Zebedee, and 15John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and He called them. 22Immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.
23Jesus was going 16throughout all Galilee, 17teaching in their synagogues and 18proclaiming the 19gospel of the kingdom, and 20healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.
24The news about Him spread 21throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, 22demoniacs, 2324epileptics, 25paralytics; and He healed them. 25Large crowds 26followed Him from Galilee and 27the Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and from 28beyond the Jordan.
