Matthew 10:7-16
7And as you go, 1preach, saying, ‘2The kingdom of heaven 3is at hand.’ 8Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give. 94Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts, 10or a 5bag for your journey, or even two 6coats, or sandals, or a staff; for 7the worker is worthy of his 8support. 11And whatever city or village you enter, inquire who is worthy in it, and stay 9at his house until you leave that city. 12As you enter the 10house, 11give it your 12greeting. 13If the house is worthy, 13give it your blessing of peace. But if it is not worthy, 14take back your blessing of peace. 14Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, 15shake the dust off your feet. 15Truly I say to you, 16it will be more tolerable for the land of 17Sodom and Gomorrah in 18the day of judgment than for that city.
16“19Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so 20be 21shrewd as serpents and 22innocent as doves.
