Matthew 10:6-16
6but rather go to 1the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7And as you go, 2preach, saying, ‘3The kingdom of heaven 4is at hand.’ 8Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give. 95Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts, 10or a 6bag for your journey, or even two 7coats, or sandals, or a staff; for 8the worker is worthy of his 9support. 11And whatever city or village you enter, inquire who is worthy in it, and stay 10at his house until you leave that city. 12As you enter the 11house, 12give it your 13greeting. 13If the house is worthy, 14give it your blessing of peace. But if it is not worthy, 15take back your blessing of peace. 14Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, 16shake the dust off your feet. 15Truly I say to you, 17it will be more tolerable for the land of 18Sodom and Gomorrah in 19the day of judgment than for that city.
16“20Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so 21be 22shrewd as serpents and 23innocent as doves.
