Job 18:11-21

11All around 1terrors frighten him, And 2harry him at every step.12His strength is 3famished, And calamity is ready at his side.134His skin is devoured by disease, The firstborn of death 5devours his 6limbs.14He is 7torn from 8the security of his tent, And 9they march him before the king of 10terrors.1511There dwells in his tent nothing of his; 12Brimstone is scattered on his habitation.16His 13roots are dried below, And his 14branch is cut off above.1715Memory of him perishes from the earth, And he has no name abroad.1816He is driven from light 17into darkness, And 18chased from the inhabited world.19He has no 19offspring or posterity among his people, Nor any survivor where he sojourned.20Those 20in the west are appalled at 21his 22fate, And those 23in the east are seized with horror.21Surely such are the 24dwellings of the wicked, And this is the place of him who does not know God.”
