Isaiah 66:7-23
7“Before she travailed, 1she brought forth; Before her pain came, 2she gave birth to a boy.83Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be 4born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once? As soon as Zion travailed, she also brought forth her sons.9Shall I bring to the point of birth and 5not give delivery?” says the Lord. “Or shall I who gives delivery shut the womb?” says your God.10“Be 6joyful with Jerusalem and rejoice for her, all you who 7love her; Be exceedingly 8glad with her, all you who mourn over her,11That you may nurse and 9be satisfied with her comforting breasts, That you may suck and be delighted with her 10bountiful bosom.”12For thus says the Lord, “Behold, I extend 11peace to her like a river, And the 12glory of the nations like an overflowing stream; And you will 13be nursed, you will be 14carried on the 15hip and fondled on the knees.13As one whom his mother comforts, so I will 16comfort you; And you will be comforted in Jerusalem.”14Then you will 17see this, and your 18heart will be glad, And your 19bones will flourish like the new grass; And the 20hand of the Lord will be made known to His servants, But He will be 21indignant toward His enemies.15For behold, the Lord will come in 22fire And His 23chariots like the whirlwind, To render His anger with fury, And His rebuke with flames of fire.16For the Lord will execute judgment by 24fire And by His 25sword on all flesh, And those slain by the Lord will be many.17“Those who sanctify and purify themselves to go to the 26gardens, 27Following one in the center, Who eat 28swine’s flesh, detestable things and mice, Will 29come to an end altogether,” declares the Lord.
18“For I 30know their works and their 31thoughts; 32the time is coming to 33gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and see My glory. 19I will set a 34sign among them and will send survivors from them to the nations: 35Tarshish, 36Put, 37Lud, 38Meshech, 39Tubal and 40Javan, to the distant 41coastlands that have neither heard My fame nor seen My glory. And they will 42declare My glory among the nations. 20Then they shall 43bring all your brethren from all the nations as a grain offering to the Lord, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules and on camels, to My 44holy mountain Jerusalem,” says the Lord, “just as the sons of Israel bring their grain offering in a 45clean vessel to the house of the Lord. 21I will also take some of them for 46priests and for Levites,” says the Lord.22“For just as the 47new heavens and the new earth Which I make will endure before Me,” declares the Lord, “So your 48offspring and your 49name will endure.23And it shall be from 50new moon to new moon And from sabbath to sabbath, All 51mankind will come to 52bow down before Me,” says the Lord.
