Isaiah 59:12-15
12For our 1transgressions are multiplied before You, And our 2sins 3testify against us; For our transgressions are with us, And 4we know our iniquities:13Transgressing and 5denying the Lord, And turning away from our God, Speaking 6oppression and revolt, Conceiving in and 7uttering from the heart lying words.148Justice is turned back, And 9righteousness stands far away; For truth has stumbled in the street, And uprightness cannot enter.15Yes, truth is lacking; And he who turns aside from evil 10makes himself a prey. Now the Lord saw, And it was 11displeasing in His sight 12that there was no justice.
