Isaiah 55:6-11
61Seek the Lord while He may be found; 2Call upon Him while He is near.73Let the wicked forsake his way And the unrighteous man his 4thoughts; And let him 5return to the Lord, And He will have 6compassion on him, And to our God, For He will 7abundantly pardon.8“For My thoughts are not 8your thoughts, Nor are 9your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.9“For 10as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.10For as the 11rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing 12seed to the sower and bread to the eater;11So will My 13word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will 14not return to Me empty, Without 15accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
