Isaiah 53:3-5

3He was 1despised and forsaken of men, A man of 2sorrows and 3acquainted with 4grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was 5despised, and we did not 6esteem Him.

4Surely our 7griefs He Himself 8bore, And our 9sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, 10Smitten of 11God, and afflicted.5But He was 12pierced through for 13our transgressions, He was crushed for 14our iniquities; The 15chastening for our 16well-being fell upon Him, And by 17His scourging we are healed.
