Isaiah 28:1-4

1Woe to the proud crown of the 1drunkards of 2Ephraim, And to the fading flower of its glorious beauty, Which is at the head of the 3fertile valley Of those who are 4overcome with wine!2Behold, the Lord has a strong and 5mighty agent; As a storm of 6hail, a tempest of destruction, Like a storm of 7mighty overflowing waters, He has cast it down to the earth with His hand.3The proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim is 8trodden under foot.4And the fading flower of its glorious beauty, Which is at the head of the 9fertile valley, Will be like the 10first-ripe fig prior to summer, Which 11one sees, And 12as soon as it is in his 13hand, He swallows it.
