Isaiah 27:6-13
61In the days to come Jacob 2will take root, Israel will 3blossom and sprout, And they will fill the 4whole world with 5fruit.
7Like the striking of Him who has struck them, has 6He struck them? Or like the slaughter of His slain, 7have they been slain?8You contended with them 8by banishing them, by 9driving them away. With His fierce wind He has expelled them on the day of the 10east wind.9Therefore through this Jacob’s iniquity will be 11forgiven; And this will be 12the full price of the 1314pardoning of his sin: When he makes all the 15altar stones like pulverized chalk stones; When 16Asherim and incense altars will not stand.10For the fortified city is 17isolated, A 18homestead forlorn and forsaken like the desert; 19There the calf will graze, And there it will lie down and 20feed on its branches.11When its 21limbs are dry, they are broken off; Women come and make a fire with them, For they are not a people of 22discernment, Therefore 23their Maker 24will not have compassion on them. And their Creator will not be gracious to them.
12In that day the Lord 25will start His threshing from the flowing stream of the 26Euphrates to the brook of Egypt, and you will be 27gathered up one by one, O sons of Israel. 13It will come about also in that day that a great 28trumpet will be blown, and those who were perishing in the land of 29Assyria and who were scattered in the land of Egypt will come and 30worship the Lord in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
