Isaiah 26:4-10

41Trust in the Lord forever, For in 2God the Lord, we have an everlasting 3Rock.5For He has brought low those who dwell on high, the 4unassailable city; 5He lays it low, He lays it low to the ground, He casts it to the dust.66The foot will trample it, The feet of the 7afflicted, the steps of the helpless.”

7The 8way of the righteous is smooth; O Upright One, 9make the path of the righteous level.8Indeed, while following the way of 10Your judgments, O Lord, We have waited for You eagerly; 11Your name, even Your 12memory, is the desire of our souls.913At night 14my soul longs for You, Indeed, 15my spirit within me 16seeks You diligently; For when the earth 17experiences Your judgments The inhabitants of the world 18learn righteousness.10Though the wicked is shown favor, He does not 19learn righteousness; He 20deals unjustly in the land of uprightness, And does not perceive the majesty of the Lord.
