Isaiah 13:19-22
19And 1Babylon, the 2beauty of kingdoms, the glory of the Chaldeans’ pride, Will be as when God 3overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.20It will 4never be inhabited or lived in from generation to generation; Nor will the 5Arab pitch his tent there, Nor will shepherds make their flocks lie down there.21But 6desert creatures will lie down there, And their houses will be full of 7owls; Ostriches also will live there, and 8shaggy goats will frolic there.229Hyenas will howl in their fortified towers And jackals in their luxurious 10palaces. Her fateful time also 11will soon come And her days will not be prolonged.
