Isaiah 1:14-17
14I hate your new moon festivals and your 1appointed feasts, They have become a burden to Me; I am 2weary of bearing them.15So when you 3spread out your hands in prayer, 4I will hide My eyes from you; Yes, even though you 5multiply prayers, I will not listen. 6Your hands are 7covered with blood.
16“8Wash yourselves, 9make yourselves clean; 10Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. 11Cease to do evil,17Learn to do good; 12Seek justice, Reprove the ruthless, 1314Defend the orphan, Plead for the widow.
