Ephesians 5:8-17

8for 1you were formerly 2darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as 3children of Light 9(for 4the fruit of the Light consists in all 5goodness and righteousness and truth), 10 6 7trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 8Do not participate in the unfruitful 9deeds of 10darkness, but instead even 11 12expose them; 12for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. 13But all things become visible 13when they are 14exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. 14For this reason 15it says, “16Awake, sleeper, And arise from 17the dead, And Christ 18will shine on you.”

15Therefore 19be careful how you 20walk, not 21as unwise men but as wise, 16 22 23making the most of your time, because 24the days are evil. 17So then do not be foolish, but 25understand what the will of the Lord is.
