Ephesians 5:1-13
11Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; 2and 2walk in love, just as Christ also 3loved 4you and 5gave Himself up for us, an 6offering and a sacrifice to God 7as a 8fragrant aroma.
3But 9immorality 10or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among 11saints; 4and there must be no 12filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which 13are not fitting, but rather 14giving of thanks. 5For this you know with certainty, that 15no 16immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom 17of Christ and God.
618Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things 19the wrath of God comes upon 20the sons of disobedience. 7Therefore do not be 21partakers with them; 8for 22you were formerly 23darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as 24children of Light 9(for 25the fruit of the Light consists in all 26goodness and righteousness and truth), 102728trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. 1129Do not participate in the unfruitful 30deeds of 31darkness, but instead even 3233expose them; 12for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. 13But all things become visible 34when they are 35exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.
