Ephesians 4:9-13
9(Now this expression, “He 1ascended,” what 2does it mean except that He also 3had descended into 4the lower parts of the earth?
10He who descended is Himself also He who ascended 5far above all the heavens, so that He might 6fill all things.)
11And He 7gave 8some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as 9evangelists, and some as pastors and 10teachers,
1211for the equipping of the 12saints for the work of service, to the building up of 13the body of Christ;
13until we all attain to 14the unity of the faith, and of the 1516knowledge of the Son of God, to a 17mature man, to the measure of the stature 18which belongs to the 19fullness of Christ.
