Ephesians 4:11-16
11And He 1gave 2some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as 3evangelists, and some as pastors and 4teachers, 125for the equipping of the 6saints for the work of service, to the building up of 7the body of Christ; 13until we all attain to 8the unity of the faith, and of the 910knowledge of the Son of God, to a 11mature man, to the measure of the stature 12which belongs to the 13fullness of Christ. 1414As a result, we are 15no longer to be children, 16tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by 17craftiness 18in 19deceitful scheming; 15but 20speaking the truth 21in love, 22we are to 23grow up in all aspects into Him who is the 24head, even Christ, 16from whom 25the whole body, being fitted and held together 26by what every joint supplies, according to the 27proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself 28in love.
