Ephesians 2:1-7

1And you 1were 2dead 3in your trespasses and sins,

2in which you 4formerly walked according to the 5course of 6this world, according to 7the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in 8the sons of disobedience.

3Among them we too all 9formerly lived in 10the lusts of our flesh, 11indulging the desires of the flesh and of the 12mind, and were 13by nature 14children of wrath, 15even as the rest.

4But God, being 16rich in mercy, because of 17His great love with which He loved us,

5even when we were 18dead 19in our transgressions, made us alive together 20with Christ (21by grace you have been saved),

6and 22raised us up with Him, and 23seated us with Him in 24the heavenly places in 25Christ Jesus,

7so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing 26riches of His grace in 27kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
