Ephesians 1:3-23
31Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in 2the heavenly places in Christ, 4just as 3He chose us in Him before 4the foundation of the world, that we would be 5holy and blameless before 6Him. 7In love 58He 9predestined us to 10adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, 11according to the 12kind intention of His will, 613to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in 14the Beloved. 715In 16Him we have 17redemption 18through His blood, the 19forgiveness of our trespasses, according to 20the riches of His grace 8which He 21lavished on 22us. In all wisdom and insight 9He 2324made known to us the mystery of His will, 25according to His 26kind intention which He 27purposed in Him 10with a view to an administration 28suitable to 29the fullness of the times, that is, 30the summing up of all things in Christ, things 31in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him 1132also we 3334have obtained an inheritance, having been 35predestined 36according to His purpose who works all things 37after the counsel of His will, 12to the end that we who were the first to hope in 38Christ would be 39to the praise of His glory. 13In 40Him, you also, after listening to 41the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also 42believed, you were 43sealed in 44Him with 45the Holy Spirit of promise, 14who is 4647given as a pledge of 48our inheritance, with a view to the 49redemption of 50God’s own possession, 51to the praise of His glory.
15For this reason I too, 52having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and 53your love for 54all the 55saints, 1656do not cease giving thanks for you, 57while making mention of you in my prayers; 17that the 58God of our Lord Jesus Christ, 59the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of 60wisdom and of 61revelation in the 62knowledge of Him. 18I pray that 63the eyes of your heart 64may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the 65hope of His 66calling, what are 67the riches of the glory of 68His inheritance in 69the 70saints, 19and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. 71These are in accordance with the working of the 72strength of His might 20which He brought about in Christ, when He 73raised Him from the dead and 74seated Him at His right hand in 75the heavenly places, 21far above 76all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every 77name that is named, not only in 78this age but also in the one to come. 22And He 79put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as 80head over all things to the church, 23which is His 81body, the 82fullness of Him who 83fills 84all in all.
