2 Thessalonians 1:4-7

4therefore, we ourselves 1speak proudly of you among 2the churches of God for your 3perseverance and faith 4in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure.

5This is a 5plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be 6considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering.

6 7For after all 8it is only just 9for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

7and to give relief to you who are afflicted 10and to us as well 11 12when the Lord Jesus will be revealed 13from heaven 14with 15His mighty angels 16in flaming fire,
