2 Thessalonians 1:2-5

21Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3We ought always 2to give thanks to God for you, 3brethren, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the 4love of each one of you toward one another grows ever greater; 4therefore, we ourselves 5speak proudly of you among 6the churches of God for your 7perseverance and faith 8in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure. 5This is a 9plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be 10considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering.
