1 Timothy 6:10-12

10For 1the love of money is a root of all 2sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have 3wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

11But 4flee from these things, you 5man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, 6faith, 7love, 8perseverance and gentleness. 129Fight the good fight of 10faith; 11take hold of the eternal life 12to which you were called, and you made the good 13confession in the presence of 14many witnesses.
