1 Timothy 1:7-11

7 1wanting to be 2teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions.

8But we know that 3the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9realizing the fact that 4law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and 5rebellious, for the 6ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and 7profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers 10 8and 9 10immoral men 11and 12homosexuals 13and 14kidnappers 15and 16liars 17and 18perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to 19sound teaching, 11according to 20the glorious gospel of 21the blessed God, with which I have been 22entrusted.
