1 Thessalonians 5:5-11

5for you are all 1sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of 2darkness; 6so then let us not 3sleep as 4 5others do, but let us be alert and 6 7sober. 7For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get 8drunk at night. 8But since 9we are of the day, let us 10be 11sober, having put on the 12breastplate of 13faith and love, and as a 14helmet, the 15hope of salvation. 9For God has not destined us for 16wrath, but for 17obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 18who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. 11Therefore 19encourage one another and 20build up one another, just as you also are doing.
