New American Standard Bible 1995
1 Peter 5:8-9
81Be of sober spirit, 2be on the alert. Your adversary, 3the devil, prowls around like a roaring 4lion, seeking someone to devour.
956But resist him, 7firm in your faith, knowing that 8the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your 9brethren who are in the world.
