1 Peter 1:9-12
9obtaining as 1the outcome of your faith the salvation of 2your souls.
103As to this salvation, the prophets who 4prophesied of the 5grace that would come to you made careful searches and inquiries, 116seeking to know what person or time 7the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He 8predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories 9to follow. 12It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who 10preached the gospel to you by 11the Holy Spirit sent from heaven--things into which 12angels long to 13look.
