1 Peter 1:6-9

61In this you greatly rejoice, even though now 2for a little while, 3if necessary, you have been distressed by 4various 5trials, 7so that the 67proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which 8is perishable, 9even though tested by fire, 10may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at 11the revelation of Jesus Christ; 8and 12though you have not seen Him, you 13love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and 14full of glory, 9obtaining as 15the outcome of your faith the salvation of 16your souls.
