1 Peter 1:2-5

2according to the 1foreknowledge of God the Father, 2by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, 3to 4obey Jesus Christ and be 5sprinkled with His blood: 6May grace and peace 7be yours in the fullest measure.

38Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who 9according to His great mercy 10has caused us to be born again to 11a living hope through the 12resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4to obtain an 13inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and 14will not fade away, 15reserved in heaven for you, 5who are 16protected by the power of God 17through faith for 18a salvation ready 19to be revealed in the last time.
