1 Peter 1:19-25

19but with precious 1blood, as of a 2lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. 20For He was 3foreknown before 4the foundation of the world, but has 5appeared 6in these last times 7for the sake of you 21who through Him are 8believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and 9gave Him glory, so that your faith and 10hope are in God.

22Since you have 11in obedience to the truth 12purified your souls for a 13 14sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from 15the heart, 23for you have been 16born again 17not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring 18word of God. 24For, “19All flesh is like grass, And all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, And the flower falls off,25 20But the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is 21the word which was 22preached to you.
