16And the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֗הmo.ShehH4872,Gatherאֶסְפָה־'es.fah-H622unto me seventyשִׁבְעִ֣יםshiv.'ImH7657menאִישׁ֮'ishH376of the eldersמִזִּקְנֵ֣יmi.zik.NeiH2205of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֒Yis.ra.'ElH3478,whom thou knowestיָדַ֔עְתָּya.Da'.taH3045to be the eldersזִקְנֵ֥יzik.NeiH2205of the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971,and officersוְשֹׁטְרָ֑יוve.sho.te.RavH7860over them; and bringוְלָקַחְתָּ֤ve.la.kach.TaH3947them unto the tabernacleאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150,that they may standוְהִֽתְיַצְּב֥וּve.hit.ya.tze.VuH3320there with thee.

17And I will come downוְיָרַדְתִּ֗יve.ya.rad.TiH3381and talkוְדִבַּרְתִּ֣יve.di.bar.TiH1696with thee there: and I will takeוְאָצַלְתִּ֗יve.'a.tzal.TiH680of the spiritהָר֛וּחַha.Ru.achH7307which isupon thee, and will putוְשַׂמְתִּ֣יve.sam.TiH7760itupon them; and they shall bearוְנָשְׂא֤וּve.na.se.'UH5375the burdenבְּמַשָּׂ֣אbe.ma.Sa'H4853of the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971with thee, that thou bearתִשָּׂ֥אti.Sa'H5375it not thyself alone.

18And sayתֹּאמַ֜רto.MarH559thou unto the peopleהָעָ֨םha.'AmH5971,Sanctifyהִתְקַדְּשׁ֣וּhit.ka.de.ShuH6942yourselves against to morrowלְמָחָר֮le.ma.CharH4279,and ye shall eatוַאֲכַלְתֶּ֣םva.'a.khal.TemH398fleshבָּשָׂר֒ba.SarH1320:for ye have weptבְּכִיתֶם֩be.khi.TemH1058in the earsבְּאָזְנֵ֨יbe.'a.ze.NeiH241of the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068,sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559,Who shall give us fleshבָּשָׂ֔רba.SarH1320to eatיַאֲכִלֵ֙נוּ֙ya.'a.khi.Le.nuH398? for it waswellט֥וֹבTovH2895with us in Egyptבְּמִצְרָ֑יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714:therefore the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068will giveוְנָתַ֨ןve.na.TanH5414you fleshבָּשָׂ֖רba.SarH1320,and ye shall eatוַאֲכַלְתֶּֽם׃va.'a.khal.TemH398.

19Ye shall not eatתֹּאכְל֖וּןtokh.LunH398oneאֶחָ֛ד'e.ChadH259dayי֥וֹםYomH3117,nor two daysיוֹמָ֑יִםyo.Ma.yimH3117,nor fiveחֲמִשָּׁ֣הcha.mi.ShahH2568daysיָמִ֗יםya.MimH3117,neither tenעֲשָׂרָ֣ה'a.sa.RahH6235daysיָמִ֔יםya.MimH3117,nor twentyעֶשְׂרִ֥ים'es.RimH6242daysיֽוֹם׃YomH3117;

20Buteven a whole monthחֹ֣דֶשׁ יָמִ֗יםCho.desh ya.MimH3117 H2320,until it come outיֵצֵא֙ye.Tze'H3318at your nostrilsמֵֽאַפְּכֶ֔םme.'a.pe.KhemH639,and it be loathsomeלְזָרָ֑אle.za.Ra'H2214unto you: becauseיַ֗עַןYa.'anH3282that ye have despisedמְאַסְתֶּ֤םme.'as.TemH3988the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068which isamongבְּקִרְבְּכֶ֔םbe.kir.be.KhemH7130you, and have weptוַתִּבְכּ֤וּva.tiv.KuH1058beforeלְפָנָיו֙le.fa.NavH6440him, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,Why came we forthיָצָ֥אנוּya.Tza.nuH3318out of Egyptמִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃mi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714?

21And Mosesמֹשֶׁה֒mo.ShehH4872saidוַיֹּאמֶר֮vai.yo.MerH559,The peopleהָעָ֕םha.'AmH5971,amongבְּקִרְבּ֑וֹbe.kir.BoH7130whom I am, aresixשֵׁשׁ־shesh-H8337hundredמֵא֥וֹתme.'otH3967thousandאֶ֙לֶף֙'e.lefH505footmenרַגְלִ֔יrag.LiH7273;and thou hast saidאָמַ֗רְתָּ'a.Mar.taH559,I will giveאֶתֵּ֣ן'e.TenH5414them fleshבָּשָׂר֙ba.SarH1320,that they may eatוְאָכְל֖וּve.'a.khe.LuH398a wholeיָמִֽים׃ya.MimH3117monthחֹ֥דֶשׁCho.deshH2320.

22Shall the flocksהֲצֹ֧אןha.TzonH6629and the herdsוּבָקָ֛רu.va.KarH1241be slainיִשָּׁחֵ֥טyi.sha.ChetH7819for them, to sufficeוּמָצָ֣אu.ma.Tza'H4672them? or shall all the fishדְּגֵ֥יde.GeiH1709of the seaהַיָּ֛םhai.YamH3220be gathered togetherיֵאָסֵ֥ףye.'a.SefH622for them, to sufficeוּמָצָ֥אu.ma.Tza'H4672them?

23And the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872,Is the Lord’sיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068handהֲיַ֥דha.YadH3027waxed shortתִּקְצָ֑רtik.TzarH7114?thou shalt seeתִרְאֶ֛הtir.'EhH7200now whether my wordדְבָרִ֖יde.va.RiH1697shall come to passהֲיִקְרְךָ֥ha.yik.re.ChaH7136unto thee or not.

24And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֗הmo.ShehH4872went outוַיֵּצֵ֣אvai.ye.Tze'H3318,and toldוַיְדַבֵּר֙vay.da.BerH1696the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971the wordsדִּבְרֵ֣יdiv.ReiH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and gatheredוַיֶּאֱסֹ֞ףvai.ye.'e.SofH622the seventyשִׁבְעִ֥יםshiv.'ImH7657menאִישׁ֙'ishH376of the eldersמִזִּקְנֵ֣יmi.zik.NeiH2205of the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971,and setוַֽיַּעֲמֵ֥דvai.ya.'a.MedH5975them round aboutסְבִיבֹ֥תse.vi.VotH5439the tabernacleהָאֹֽהֶל׃ha.'O.helH168.

25And the Lordיְהוָ֥ה׀Yah.wehH3068came downוַיֵּ֨רֶדvai.Ye.redH3381in a cloudבֶּעָנָן֮be.'a.NanH6051,and spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֣רvay.da.BerH1696unto him, and tookוַיָּ֗אצֶלvai.Ya.tzelH680of the spiritהָר֙וּחַ֙ha.Ru.achH7307that wasupon him, and gaveוַיִּתֵּ֕ןvai.yi.TenH5414itunto the seventyשִׁבְעִ֥יםshiv.'ImH7657eldersאִ֖ישׁ הַזְּקֵנִ֑ים'ish ha.ze.ke.NimH376 H2205: and it came to pass, that,when the spiritהָר֔וּחַha.Ru.achH7307restedכְּנ֤וֹחַke.No.achH5117upon them, they prophesiedוַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וּvai.yit.na.be.'UH5012,and did not ceaseיָסָֽפוּ׃ya.Sa.fuH3254.

26But there remainedוַיִּשָּׁאֲר֣וּvai.yi.sha.'a.RuH7604twoשְׁנֵֽי־she.nei-H8147of themenאֲנָשִׁ֣ים׀'a.na.ShimH582in the campבַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֡הba.ma.cha.NehH4264,the nameשֵׁ֣םshemH8034of the oneהָאֶחָ֣ד׀ha.'e.ChadH259wasEldadאֶלְדָּ֡ד'el.DadH419,and the nameוְשֵׁם֩ve.ShemH8034of the otherהַשֵּׁנִ֨יha.she.NiH8145Medadמֵידָ֜דmei.DadH4312:and the spiritהָר֗וּחַha.Ru.achH7307restedוַתָּ֧נַחva.Ta.nachH5117upon them; and they wereof them that were writtenבַּכְּתֻבִ֔יםba.ke.tu.VimH3789,but went not outיָצְא֖וּya.tze.'UH3318unto the tabernacleהָאֹ֑הֱלָהha.'O.he.lahH168:and they prophesiedוַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וּvai.yit.na.be.'UH5012in the campבַּֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃Ba.ma.cha.NehH4264.

27And there ranוַיָּ֣רָץvai.Ya.rotzH7323a young manהַנַּ֔עַרha.Na.'arH5288,and toldוַיַּגֵּ֥דvai.ya.GedH5046Mosesלְמֹשֶׁ֖הle.mo.ShehH4872,and saidוַיֹּאמַ֑רvai.yo.MarH559,Eldadאֶלְדָּ֣ד'el.DadH419and Medadוּמֵידָ֔דu.mei.DadH4312do prophesyמִֽתְנַבְּאִ֖יםmit.na.be.'ImH5012in the campבַּֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃Ba.ma.cha.NehH4264.

28And Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091the sonבִּן־bin-H1121of Nunנ֗וּןNunH5126,the servantמְשָׁרֵ֥תme.sha.RetH8334of Mosesמֹשֶׁ֛הmo.ShehH4872, oneof his young menמִבְּחֻרָ֖יוmi.be.chu.RavH979,answeredוַיַּ֜עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030and saidוַיֹּאמַ֑רvai.yo.MarH559,My lordאֲדֹנִ֥י'a.do.NiH113Mosesמֹשֶׁ֖הmo.ShehH4872,forbidכְּלָאֵֽם׃ke.la.'EmH3607them.

29And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Enviestהַֽמְקַנֵּ֥אham.ka.Ne'H7065thou for my sake? would God that all theיִתֵּ֜ןyi.TenH5414Lord’sיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068peopleעַ֤ם'amH5971were prophetsנְבִיאִ֔יםne.vi.'ImH5030, andthat the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068would putיִתֵּ֧ןyi.TenH5414his spiritרוּח֖וֹru.ChoH7307upon them!

30And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֖הmo.ShehH4872gatוַיֵּאָסֵ֥ףvai.ye.'a.SefH622him into the campהַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑הha.ma.cha.NehH4264,he and the eldersוְזִקְנֵ֥יve.zik.NeiH2205of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.
