1And these are the countrieswhich the childrenבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478inheritedנָחֲל֥וּna.cha.LuH5157in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Canaanכְּנָ֑עַןke.Na.'anH3667,which Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֤ר'el.'a.ZarH499the priestהַכֹּהֵן֙ha.ko.HenH3548,and Joshuaוִיהוֹשֻׁ֣עַvi.ho.Shu.a'H3091the sonבִּן־bin-H1121of Nunנ֔וּןNunH5126,and the headsוְרָאשֵׁ֛יve.ra.SheiH7218of the fathersאֲב֥וֹת'a.VotH1of the tribesהַמַּטּ֖וֹתha.ma.TotH4294of the childrenלִבְנֵ֥יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478,distributed for inheritanceנִֽחֲל֜וּni.cha.LuH5157to them.

2By lotבְּגוֹרַ֖לbe.go.RalH1486wastheir inheritanceנַחֲלָתָ֑םna.cha.la.TamH5159,as the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֤הtzi.VahH6680by the handבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027of Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872,for the nineלְתִשְׁעַ֥תle.tish.'AtH8672tribesהַמַּטּ֖וֹתha.ma.TotH4294, and forthe halfוַחֲצִ֥יva.cha.TziH2677tribeהַמַּטֶּֽה׃ha.ma.TehH4294.

3For Mosesמֹשֶׁ֜הmo.ShehH4872had givenנָתַ֨ןna.TanH5414the inheritanceנַחֲלַ֨תna.cha.LatH5159of twoשְׁנֵ֤יshe.NeiH8147tribesהַמַּטּוֹת֙ha.ma.tOtH4294and an halfוַחֲצִ֣יva.cha.TziH2677tribeהַמַּטֶּ֔הha.ma.TehH4294on the other sideמֵעֵ֖בֶרme.'E.verH5676Jordanלַיַּרְדֵּ֑ןlai.yar.DenH3383:but unto the Levitesוְלַ֨לְוִיִּ֔םve.Lal.vi.YimH3881he gaveנָתַ֥ןna.TanH5414none inheritanceנַחֲלָ֖הna.cha.LahH5159amongבְּתוֹכָֽם׃be.to.KhamH8432them.

4For the childrenבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Josephיוֹסֵ֛ףyo.SefH3130were twoשְׁנֵ֥יshe.NeiH8147tribesמַטּ֖וֹתma.TotH4294,Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֣הme.na.ShehH4519and Ephraimוְאֶפְרָ֑יִםve.'ef.Ra.yimH669:therefore they gaveנָתְנוּ֩na.te.NuH5414no partחֵ֨לֶקChe.lekH2506unto the Levitesלַלְוִיִּ֜םlal.vi.YimH3881in the landבָּאָ֗רֶץba.'A.retzH776,save citiesעָרִים֙'a.RimH5892to dwellלָשֶׁ֔בֶתla.She.vetH3427in,with their suburbsוּמִ֨גְרְשֵׁיהֶ֔םu.Mig.re.shei.HemH4054for their cattleלְמִקְנֵיהֶ֖םle.mik.nei.HemH4735and for their substanceוּלְקִנְיָנָֽם׃u.le.kin.ya.NamH7075.

5As the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֤הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872,so the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478didעָשׂ֖וּ'a.SuH6213,and they dividedוַֽיַּחְלְק֖וּvai.yach.le.KuH2505the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ פha.'A.retzH776.

7Fortyאַרְבָּעִ֨ים'ar.ba.'ImH705yearsשָׁנָ֜הsha.NahH8141oldבֶּן־ben-H1121wasI when Mosesמֹשֶׁ֨הmo.ShehH4872the servantעֶֽבֶד־'e.ved-H5650of the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068sentבִּ֠שְׁלֹחַBish.lo.achH7971me from Kadesh–barneaH6947to espy outלְרַגֵּ֣לle.ra.GelH7270the landהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776;and I broughtH7725him wordדָּבָ֔רda.VarH1697againH7725as it wasin mine heartלְבָבִֽי׃le.va.ViH3824.

8Nevertheless my brethrenוְאַחַי֙ve.'a.ChaiH251that went upעָל֣וּ'a.LuH5927with me made the heartלֵ֣בlevH3820of the peopleהָעָ֑םha.'AmH5971meltהִמְסִ֖יוhim.SivH4529:but I whollyמִלֵּ֔אתִיmi.Le.tiH4390followedאַחֲרֵ֖י'a.cha.ReiH310the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068my Godאֱלֹהָֽי׃'e.lo.HaiH430.

9And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֗הmo.ShehH4872swareוַיִּשָּׁבַ֣עvai.yi.sha.Va'H7650on that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117,sayingלֵאמֹר֒le.MorH559,Surely the landהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ha.'A.retzH776whereon thy feetרַגְלְךָ֙rag.le.KhaH7272have troddenדָּרְכָ֤הda.re.KhahH1869shall be thine inheritanceלְנַחֲלָ֛הle.na.cha.LahH5159,and thy children’sוּלְבָנֶ֖יךָu.le.va.Nei.khaH1121forעַד־'ad-H5704everעוֹלָ֑םo.LamH5769,because thou hast whollyמִלֵּ֔אתָmi.Le.taH4390followedאַחֲרֵ֖י'a.cha.ReiH310the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068my Godאֱלֹהָֽי׃'e.lo.HaiH430.

10And now, behold, the Lordיְהוָ֣ה׀Yah.wehH3068hath kept me aliveהֶחֱיָ֨הhe.che.YahH2421,as he saidדִּבֵּר֒di.BerH1696,these fortyאַרְבָּעִ֨ים'ar.ba.'ImH705and fiveוְחָמֵ֜שׁve.cha.MeshH2568yearsשָׁנָ֗הsha.NahH8141,even sinceמֵ֠אָזMe.'ozH227the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068spakeדִּבֶּ֨רdi.BerH1696this wordהַדָּבָ֤רha.da.VarH1697unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872, while the children ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478wanderedהָלַ֥ךְha.LakhH1980in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֑רba.mid.BarH4057: and now, lo, I amthis dayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117fourscoreוּשְׁמוֹנִ֖יםu.she.mo.NimH8084and fiveחָמֵ֥שׁcha.MeshH2568yearsשָׁנָֽה׃sha.NahH8141oldבֶּן־ben-H1121.

11As yet I am asstrongחָזָ֗קcha.ZakH2389this dayהַיּ֜וֹםhai.YomH3117as I wasin the dayבְּי֨וֹםbe.YomH3117that Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872sentשְׁלֹ֤חַshe.Lo.achH7971me: as my strengthכְּכֹ֥חִיke.Kho.chiH3581was then, even so ismy strengthוּכְכֹ֣חִיu.khe.Kho.chiH3581now, for warלַמִּלְחָמָ֖הla.mil.cha.MahH4421,both to go outוְלָצֵ֥אתve.la.TzetH3318,and to come inוְלָבֽוֹא׃ve.la.Vo'H935.

12Now therefore giveתְּנָה־te.nah-H5414me this mountainהָהָ֣רha.HarH2022,whereof the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spakeדִּבֶּ֥רdi.BerH1696in that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117;for thou heardestשָׁמַעְתָּ֩sha.ma'.TaH8085in that dayבַיּ֨וֹםvai.YomH3117how the Anakimsעֲנָקִ֣ים'a.na.KimH6062were there, and thatthe citiesוְעָרִים֙ve.'a.RimH5892weregreatגְּדֹל֣וֹתge.do.LotH1419andfencedבְּצֻר֔וֹתbe.tzu.RotH1219:if so beאוּלַ֨י'u.LaiH194the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068will bewithאוֹתִי֙'o.TiH854me, then I shall be able to drive them outוְה֣וֹרַשְׁתִּ֔יםve.Ho.rash.TimH3423,as the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068saidדִּבֶּ֥רdi.BerH1696.

13And Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֑עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091blessedוַֽיְבָרְכֵ֖הוּvay.va.re.Khe.huH1288him, and gaveוַיִּתֵּ֧ןvai.yi.TenH5414unto Calebלְכָלֵ֥בle.kha.LevH3612the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Jephunnehיְפֻנֶּ֖הye.fu.NehH3312Hebronחֶבְר֛וֹןchev.RonH2275for an inheritanceלְנַחֲלָֽה׃le.na.cha.LahH5159.
