5Oה֥וֹיHoH1945Assyrianאַשּׁ֖וּר'a.ShurH804,the rodשֵׁ֣בֶטShe.vetH7626of mine angerאַפִּ֑י'a.PiH639,and the staffוּמַטֶּה־u.ma.teh-H4294in their handבְיָדָ֖םve.ya.DamH3027is mine indignationזַעְמִֽי׃za'.MiH2195.

6I will sendאֲשַׁלְּחֶ֔נּוּ'a.shal.le.Che.nuH7971him against an hypocriticalחָנֵף֙cha.NefH2611nationבְּג֤וֹיbe.GoyH1471,and against the peopleעַ֥ם'amH5971of my wrathעֶבְרָתִ֖י'ev.ra.TiH5678will I give him a chargeאֲצַוֶּ֑נּוּ'a.tzav.Ve.nuH6680,to takeלִשְׁלֹ֤לlish.LolH7997the spoilשָׁלָל֙sha.LalH7998,and to takeוְלָבֹ֣זve.la.VozH962the preyבַּ֔זBazH957,and to tread them downוּלְשׂוּמ֥וֹ מִרְמָ֖סu.le.si.mov mir.MasH4823 H7760like the mireכְּחֹ֥מֶרke.Cho.merH2563of the streetsחוּצֽוֹת׃chu.TzotH2351.

7Howbeit he meanethיְדַמֶּ֔הye.da.MehH1819not so, neither doth his heartוּלְבָב֖וֹu.le.va.VoH3824thinkיַחְשֹׁ֑בyach.ShoH2803so; but it isin his heartבִּלְבָב֔וֹbil.va.VoH3824to destroyלְהַשְׁמִ֣ידle.hash.MidH8045and cut offוּלְהַכְרִ֥יתu.le.hakh.RitH3772nationsגּוֹיִ֖םgo.YimH1471not a fewמְעָֽט׃me.'AtH4592.

8For he saithיֹאמַ֑רyo.MarH559, Arenot my princesשָׂרַ֛יsa.RaiH8269altogetherיַחְדָּ֖וyach.DavH3162kingsמְלָכִֽים׃me.la.KhimH4428?

9Isnot Calnoכַּלְנ֑וֹkal.NoH3641as Carchemishכְּכַרְכְּמִ֖ישׁke.khar.ke.MishH3751? isnot Hamathחֲמָ֔תcha.MatH2574as Arpadכְאַרְפַּד֙khe.'ar.PadH774? isnot Samariaשֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃sho.me.RonH8111as Damascusכְדַמֶּ֖שֶׂקkhe.da.Me.sekH1834?

10As my handיָדִ֔יya.DiH3027hath foundמָצְאָ֣הma.tze.'AhH4672the kingdomsלְמַמְלְכֹ֖תle.mam.le.KhotH4467of the idolsהָאֱלִ֑ילha.'e.LilH457,and whose graven imagesוּפְסִ֣ילֵיהֶ֔םu.fe.Si.lei.HemH6456did excel them of Jerusalemמִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖םmi.ru.sha.LimH3389and of Samariaוּמִשֹּׁמְרֽוֹן׃u.mi.sho.me.RonH8111;

11Shall I not, as I have doneעָשִׂ֛יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213unto Samariaלְשֹׁמְר֖וֹןle.sho.me.RonH8111and her idolsוְלֶאֱלִילֶ֑יהָve.le.'e.li.Lei.haH457,so doאֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה'e.'e.SehH6213to Jerusalemלִירוּשָׁלִַ֖םli.ru.sha.LimH3389and her idolsוְלַעֲצַבֶּֽיהָ׃ סve.la.'a.tza.Bei.haH6091?
