1And the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068spakeוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֣הmo.ShehH4872and Aaronאַהֲרֹ֔ן'a.ha.RonH175in the landבְּאֶ֥רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

2This monthהַחֹ֧דֶשׁha.Cho.deshH2320shall beunto you the beginningרֹ֣אשׁroshH7218of monthsחֳדָשִׁ֑יםcho.da.ShimH2320: it shall bethe firstרִאשׁ֥וֹןri.ShonH7223monthלְחָדְשֵׁ֖יle.cha.de.SheiH2320of the yearהַשָּׁנָֽה׃ha.sha.NahH8141to you.

3Speakדַּבְּר֗וּda.be.RuH1696ye unto all the congregationעֲדַ֤ת'a.DatH5712of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,In the tenthבֶּעָשֹׂ֖רbe.'a.SorH6218dayof this monthלַחֹ֣דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320they shall takeוְיִקְח֣וּve.yik.ChuH3947to them every manאִ֛ישׁ'ishH376a lambשֶׂ֥הsehH7716,according to the houseלְבֵית־le.veit-H1004of theirfathersאָבֹ֖ת'a.VotH1,a lambשֶׂ֥הsehH7716for an houseלַבָּֽיִת׃la.Ba.yitH1004:

4And if the householdהַבַּיִת֮ha.ba.YitH1004beמִהְיֹ֣תmih.YotH1961too littleיִמְעַ֣טyim.'AtH4591for the lambמִשֶּׂה֒mi.SehH7716,let him and his neighbourוּשְׁכֵנ֛וֹu.she.khe.NoH7934nextהַקָּרֹ֥בha.ka.RoH7138unto his houseבֵּית֖וֹbei.ToH1004takeוְלָקַ֣חve.la.KachH3947itaccording to the numberבְּמִכְסַ֣תbe.mikh.SatH4373of the soulsנְפָשֹׁ֑תne.fa.ShotH5315;every manאִ֚ישׁ'ishH376accordingלְפִ֣יle.FiH6310to his eatingאָכְל֔וֹ'a.khe.LoH400shall make your countתָּכֹ֖סּוּta.Kho.suH3699for the lambהַשֶּֽׂה׃ha.SehH7716.

5Your lambשֶׂ֥הsehH7716shall be without blemishתָמִ֛יםta.MimH8549,a maleזָכָ֥רza.KharH2145of the firstבֶּן־ben-H1121yearשָׁנָ֖הsha.NahH8141:ye shall takeתִּקָּֽחוּ׃ti.Ka.chuH3947itout from the sheepהַכְּבָשִׂ֥יםha.ke.va.SimH3532,or from the goatsהָעִזִּ֖יםha.'i.ZimH5795:

6And ye shall keepלְמִשְׁמֶ֔רֶתle.mish.Me.retH4931it up until the fourteenthאַרְבָּעָ֥ה עָשָׂ֛ר'ar.ba.'Ah 'a.SarH6240 H702dayי֖וֹםYomH3117of the same monthלַחֹ֣דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320:and the wholeכֹּ֛לkolH3605assemblyקְהַ֥לke.HalH6951of the congregationעֲדַֽת־'a.dat-H5712of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478shall killוְשָׁחֲט֣וּve.sha.cha.TuH7819it inבֵּ֥יןbeinH996the eveningהָעַרְבָּֽיִם׃ha.'ar.Ba.yimH6153.

7And they shall takeוְלָֽקְחוּ֙ve.la.ke.ChuH3947of the bloodהַדָּ֔םha.DamH1818,and strikeוְנָֽתְנ֛וּve.na.te.NuH5414iton the twoשְׁתֵּ֥יshe.TeiH8147side postsהַמְּזוּזֹ֖תha.me.zu.ZotH4201and on the upper door postהַמַּשְׁק֑וֹףha.mash.KofH4947of the housesהַבָּ֣תִּ֔יםha.Ba.TimH1004,wherein they shall eatיֹאכְל֥וּyo.khe.LuH398it.

8And they shall eatוְאָכְל֥וּve.'a.khe.LuH398the fleshהַבָּשָׂ֖רha.ba.SarH1320in that nightבַּלַּ֣יְלָהba.Lay.lahH3915,roastצְלִי־tze.li-H6748with fireאֵ֣שׁ'eshH784,and unleavened breadוּמַצּ֔וֹתu.ma.TzotH4682; andwith bitterמְרֹרִ֖יםme.ro.RimH4844herbsthey shall eatיֹאכְלֻֽהוּ׃yo.khe.Lu.huH398it.

9Eatתֹּאכְל֤וּto.khe.LuH398not of it rawנָ֔אNa'H4995,nor soddenוּבָשֵׁ֥ל מְבֻשָּׁ֖לu.va.Shel me.vu.ShalH1311 H1310at all with waterבַּמָּ֑יִםba.Ma.yimH4325,but roastצְלִי־tze.li-H6748withfireאֵ֔שׁ'EshH784;his headרֹאשׁ֥וֹro.ShoH7218with his legsכְּרָעָ֖יוke.ra.'AvH3767,and with the purtenanceקִרְבּֽוֹ׃kir.BoH7130thereof.

10And ye shall let nothing of it remainתוֹתִ֥ירוּto.Ti.ruH3498until the morningבֹּ֑קֶרBo.kerH1242;and that which remainethוְהַנֹּתָ֥רve.ha.no.TarH3498of it until the morningבֹּ֖קֶרBo.kerH1242ye shall burnתִּשְׂרֹֽפוּ׃tis.Ro.fuH8313with fireבָּאֵ֥שׁba.'EshH784.

11And thusוְכָכָה֮ve.kha.KhahH3602shall ye eatתֹּאכְל֣וּto.khe.LuH398it; withyour loinsמָתְנֵיכֶ֣םma.te.nei.KhemH4975girdedחֲגֻרִ֔יםcha.gu.RimH2296,your shoesנַֽעֲלֵיכֶם֙na.'a.lei.KhemH5275on your feetבְּרַגְלֵיכֶ֔םbe.rag.lei.KhemH7272,and your staffוּמַקֶּלְכֶ֖םu.ma.kel.KhemH4731in your handבְּיֶדְכֶ֑םbe.yed.KhemH3027;and ye shall eatוַאֲכַלְתֶּ֤םva.'a.khal.TemH398it in hasteבְּחִפָּז֔וֹןbe.chi.pa.ZonH2649: it isthe Lord’sלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068passoverפֶּ֥סַחPe.sachH6453.

12For I will passוְעָבַרְתִּ֣יve.'a.var.TiH5674through the landבְאֶֽרֶץ־ve.'e.retz-H776of Egyptמִצְרַיִם֮mitz.ra.YimH4714this nightבַּלַּ֣יְלָהba.Lay.lahH3915,and will smiteוְהִכֵּיתִ֤יve.hi.kei.TiH5221all the firstbornבְּכוֹר֙be.khOrH1060in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,both manמֵאָדָ֖םme.'a.DamH120and beastבְּהֵמָ֑הbe.he.MahH929;and against all the godsאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Egyptמִצְרַ֛יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714I will executeאֶֽעֱשֶׂ֥ה'e.'e.SehH6213judgmentשְׁפָטִ֖יםshe.fa.TimH8201: I amthe Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

13And the bloodהַדָּ֨םha.DamH1818shall be to you for a tokenלְאֹ֗תle.'OtH226upon the housesהַבָּתִּים֙ha.ba.TimH1004where ye are:and when I seeוְרָאִ֙יתִי֙ve.ra.'I.tiH7200the bloodהַדָּ֔םha.DamH1818,I will passוּפָסַחְתִּ֖יu.fa.sach.TiH6452over you, and the plagueנֶ֙גֶף֙ne.gefH5063shall not be upon you to destroyלְמַשְׁחִ֔יתle.mash.ChitH4889you,when I smiteבְּהַכֹּתִ֖יbe.ha.ko.TiH5221the landבְּאֶ֥רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

14And this dayהַיּ֨וֹםhai.YomH3117shall be unto you for a memorialלְזִכָּר֔וֹןle.zi.ka.RonH2146;and ye shall keepוְחַגֹּתֶ֥םve.cha.go.TemH2287it a feastחַ֣גchagH2282to the Lordלַֽיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068throughout your generationsלְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔םle.do.Ro.tei.KhemH1755;ye shall keep it a feastתְּחָגֻּֽהוּ׃te.cha.Gu.huH2287by an ordinanceחֻקַּ֥תchu.KatH2708for everעוֹלָ֖םo.LamH5769.

15Sevenשִׁבְעַ֤תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִים֙ya.MimH3117shall ye eatתֹּאכֵ֔לוּto.Khe.luH398unleavened breadמַצּ֣וֹתma.TzotH4682;evenאַ֚ךְ'akhH389the firstהָרִאשׁ֔וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117ye shall put awayתַּשְׁבִּ֥יתוּtash.Bi.tuH7673leavenשְּׂאֹ֖רse.'OrH7603out of your housesמִבָּתֵּיכֶ֑םmi.ba.tei.KhemH1004:for whosoever eatethאֹכֵ֣ל'o.KhelH398leavened breadחָמֵ֗ץcha.MetzH2557from the firstהָרִאשֹׁ֖ןha.ri.ShonH7223dayמִיּ֥וֹםmi.YomH3117until the seventhהַשְּׁבִעִֽי׃ha.she.vi.'IH7637dayי֥וֹםYomH3117,that soulהַנֶּ֤פֶשׁha.Ne.feshH5315shall be cutוְנִכְרְתָ֞הve.nikh.re.TahH3772off from Israelמִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֔לmi.Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

16And in the firstהָרִאשׁוֹן֙ha.ri.shOnH7223dayוּבַיּ֤וֹםu.vai.YomH3117there shall bean holyקֹ֔דֶשׁKo.deshH6944convocationמִקְרָא־mik.ra'-H4744,and in the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֔יha.she.vi.'IH7637dayוּבַיּוֹם֙u.vai.yOmH3117there shall be an holyקֹ֖דֶשׁKo.deshH6944convocationמִקְרָא־mik.ra'-H4744to you; no manner of workמְלָאכָה֙me.la.KhahH4399shall be doneיֵעָשֶׂ֣הye.'a.SehH6213in them, saveאַ֚ךְ'akhH389thatwhich every manנֶ֔פֶשׁNe.feshH5315must eatיֵאָכֵ֣לye.'a.KhelH398,that only may be doneיֵעָשֶׂ֥הye.'a.SehH6213of you.

17And ye shall observeוּשְׁמַרְתֶּם֮u.she.mar.TemH8104the feast ofunleavened breadהַמַּצּוֹת֒ha.ma.tzOtH4682;for in this selfsameבְּעֶ֙צֶם֙be.'E.tzemH6106dayהַיּ֣וֹםhai.YomH3117have I broughtהוֹצֵ֥אתִיho.Tze.tiH3318your armiesצִבְאוֹתֵיכֶ֖םtziv.'o.tei.KhemH6635out of the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714:therefore shall ye observeוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֞םu.she.mar.TemH8104this dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117in your generationsלְדֹרֹתֵיכֶ֖םle.do.ro.tei.KhemH1755by an ordinanceחֻקַּ֥תchu.KatH2708for everעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769.

19Sevenשִׁבְעַ֣תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִ֔יםya.MimH3117shall there be no leavenשְׂאֹ֕רse.'OrH7603foundיִמָּצֵ֖אyi.ma.Tze'H4672in your housesבְּבָתֵּיכֶ֑םbe.va.tei.KhemH1004:for whosoever eatethאֹכֵ֣ל'o.KhelH398that which is leavenedמַחְמֶ֗צֶתmach.Me.tzetH2556,even that soulהַנֶּ֤פֶשׁha.Ne.feshH5315shall be cut offוְנִכְרְתָ֞הve.nikh.re.TahH3772from the congregationמֵעֲדַ֣תme.'a.DatH5712of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,whether he be a strangerבַּגֵּ֖רba.GerH1616,or bornוּבְאֶזְרַ֥חu.ve.'ez.RachH249in the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

20Ye shall eatתֹאכֵ֑לוּto.Khe.luH398nothing leavenedמַחְמֶ֖צֶתmach.Me.tzetH2556;in all your habitationsמוֹשְׁבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔םmo.she.Vo.tei.KhemH4186shall ye eatתֹּאכְל֖וּto.khe.LuH398unleavened breadמַצּֽוֹת׃ פma.TzotH4682.

21Then Mosesמֹשֶׁ֛הmo.ShehH4872calledוַיִּקְרָ֥אvai.yik.Ra'H7121for all the eldersזִקְנֵ֥יzik.NeiH2205of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto them, Draw outמִֽשְׁכ֗וּmish.KhuH4900and takeוּקְח֨וּu.ke.ChuH3947you a lambצֹ֛אןtzonH6629according to your familiesלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתֵיכֶ֖םle.mish.pe.cho.tei.KhemH4940,and killוְשַׁחֲט֥וּve.sha.cha.TuH7819the passoverהַפָּֽסַח׃ha.Pa.sachH6453.

22And ye shall takeוּלְקַחְתֶּ֞םu.le.kach.TemH3947a bunchאֲגֻדַּ֣ת'a.gu.DatH92of hyssopאֵז֗וֹב'e.ZovH231,and dipוּטְבַלְתֶּם֮u.te.val.TemH2881itin the bloodבַּדָּ֣םba.DamH1818that isin the basonבַּסַּף֒ba.SafH5592,and strikeוְהִגַּעְתֶּ֤םve.hi.ga'.TemH5060the lintelהַמַּשְׁקוֹף֙ha.mash.kOfH4947and the twoשְׁתֵּ֣יshe.TeiH8147side postsהַמְּזוּזֹ֔תha.me.zu.ZotH4201with the bloodהַדָּ֖םha.DamH1818that isin the basonבַּסָּ֑ףba.SafH5592;and noneאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376of you shall go outתֵצְא֛וּte.tze.'UH3318at the doorמִפֶּֽתַח־mi.pe.tach-H6607of his houseבֵּית֖וֹbei.ToH1004until the morningבֹּֽקֶר׃Bo.kerH1242.

23For the Lordיְהוָה֮Yah.wehH3068will pass throughוְעָבַ֣רve.'a.VarH5674to smiteלִנְגֹּ֣ףlin.GofH5062the Egyptiansמִצְרַיִם֒mitz.ra.YimH4714;and when he seethוְרָאָ֤הve.ra.'AhH7200the bloodהַדָּם֙ha.DamH1818upon the lintelהַמַּשְׁק֔וֹףha.mash.KofH4947,and on the twoשְׁתֵּ֣יshe.TeiH8147side postsהַמְּזוּזֹ֑תha.me.zu.ZotH4201,the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068will pass overוּפָסַ֤חu.fa.SachH6452the doorהַפֶּ֔תַחha.Pe.tachH6607,and will not sufferיִתֵּן֙yi.TenH5414the destroyerהַמַּשְׁחִ֔יתha.mash.ChitH7843to comeלָבֹ֥אla.Vo'H935in unto your housesבָּתֵּיכֶ֖םba.tei.KhemH1004to smiteלִנְגֹּֽף׃lin.GofH5062you.

24And ye shall observeוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֖םu.she.mar.TemH8104this thingהַדָּבָ֣רha.da.VarH1697for an ordinanceלְחָק־le.chok-H2706to thee and to thy sonsוּלְבָנֶ֖יךָu.le.va.Nei.khaH1121forעַד־'ad-H5704everעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769.

25And it shall come to pass, when ye be comeתָבֹ֣אוּta.Vo.'uH935to the landהָאָ֗רֶץha.'A.retzH776which the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068will giveיִתֵּ֧ןyi.TenH5414you, according as he hath promisedדִּבֵּ֑רdi.BerH1696,that ye shall keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֖םu.she.mar.TemH8104this serviceהָעֲבֹדָ֥הha.'a.vo.DahH5656.

26And it shall come to pass, when your childrenבְּנֵיכֶ֑םbe.nei.KhemH1121shall sayיֹאמְר֥וּyo.me.RuH559unto you, What mean ye by this serviceהָעֲבֹדָ֥הha.'a.vo.DahH5656?

27That ye shall sayוַאֲמַרְתֶּ֡םva.'a.mar.TemH559, It isthe sacrificeזֶֽבַח־ze.vach-H2077of the Lord’sלַֽיהוָ֗הla.Yah.wehH3068passoverפֶּ֨סַחPe.sachH6453,who passedפָּ֠סַחPa.sachH6452over the housesבָּתֵּ֤יba.TeiH1004of the childrenבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478in Egyptבְּמִצְרַ֔יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,when he smoteבְּנָגְפּ֥וֹbe.na.ge.PoH5062the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,and deliveredהִצִּ֑ילhi.TzilH5337our housesבָּתֵּ֣ינוּba.Tei.nuH1004.And the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971bowed the headוַיִּקֹּ֥דvai.yi.KodH6915and worshippedוַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוּֽוּ׃vai.Yish.ta.cha.VuH7812.
