2 Chronicles 15:1-8

1And the Spiritר֥וּחַRu.achH7307of Godאֱלֹהִֽים׃'E.lo.HimH430came upon Azariahוַעֲזַרְיָ֙הוּ֙va.'a.zar.Ya.huH5838the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Odedעוֹדֵ֔דo.DedH5752:

2And he went outוַיֵּצֵא֮vai.ye.Tze'H3318to meetלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440Asaאָסָא֒'a.Sa'H609,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Hearשְׁמָע֕וּנִיshe.ma.'U.niH8085ye me, Asaאָסָ֖א'a.Sa'H609,and all Judahיְהוּדָ֣הye.hu.DahH3063and Benjaminוּבִנְיָמִ֑ןu.vin.ya.MinH1144;The Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068iswith you, while ye be with him; and if ye seekתִּדְרְשֻׁ֙הוּ֙tid.re.Shu.huH1875him, he will be foundיִמָּצֵ֣אyi.ma.Tze'H4672of you; but if ye forsakeתַּעַזְבֻ֖הוּta.'az.Vu.huH5800him, he will forsakeיַעֲזֹ֥בya.'a.ZoH5800you.

3Now for a longרַבִּ֖יםra.BimH7227seasonוְיָמִ֥יםve.ya.MimH3117Israelלְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לle.Yis.ra.'ElH3478hath beenwithoutH3808the trueאֱמֶ֗ת'e.MetH571Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430,and without a teachingמוֹרֶ֖הmo.RehH3384priestכֹּהֵ֥ןko.HenH3548,and without lawתוֹרָֽה׃to.RahH8451.

4But when they in their troubleבַּצַּר־ba.tzar-H6862did turnוַיָּ֙שָׁב֙vai.Ya.shovH7725unto the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and soughtוַיְבַקְשֻׁ֖הוּvay.vak.Shu.huH1245him, he was foundוַיִּמָּצֵ֥אvai.yi.ma.Tze'H4672of them.

5And in those timesוּבָעִתִּ֣יםu.va.'i.TimH6256there wasno peaceשָׁל֖וֹםsha.LomH7965to him that went outלַיּוֹצֵ֣אlai.yo.Tze'H3318,nor to him that came inוְלַבָּ֑אve.la.Ba'H935,but greatרַבּ֔וֹתra.BotH7227vexationsמְהוּמֹ֣תme.hu.MotH4103wereupon all the inhabitantsיוֹשְׁבֵ֖יyo.she.VeiH3427of the countriesהָאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ha.'a.ra.TzotH776.

6And nationגוֹי־goy-H1471was destroyedוְכֻתְּת֥וּve.khu.te.TuH3807of nationבְּג֖וֹיbe.GoyH1471,and cityוְעִ֣ירve.'IrH5892of cityבְּעִ֑ירbe.'IrH5892:for Godאֱלֹהִ֥ים'E.lo.HimH430did vexהֲמָמָ֖םha.ma.MamH2000them with all adversityצָרָֽה׃tza.RahH6869.

7Be ye strongחִזְק֔וּchiz.KuH2388therefore, and let not your handsיְדֵיכֶ֑םye.dei.KhemH3027be weakיִרְפּ֖וּyir.PuH7503:for your workלִפְעֻלַּתְכֶֽם׃ סlif.'u.lat.KhemH6468shall beיֵ֥שׁyeshH3426rewardedשָׂכָ֖רsa.KharH7939.

8And when Asaאָסָ֜א'a.Sa'H609heardוְכִשְׁמֹ֨עַve.khish.Mo.a'H8085these wordsהַדְּבָרִ֣יםha.de.va.RimH1697,and the prophecyוְהַנְּבוּאָה֮ve.ha.ne.vu.'AhH5016of Odedעֹדֵ֣ד'o.DedH5752the prophetהַנָּבִיא֒ha.na.Vi'H5030,he took courageהִתְחַזַּ֗קhit.cha.ZakH2388,and put awayוַיַּעֲבֵ֤רvai.ya.'a.VerH5674the abominable idolsהַשִּׁקּוּצִים֙ha.shi.ku.TzimH8251out of all the landאֶ֤רֶץ'E.retzH776of Judahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063and Benjaminוּבִנְיָמִ֔ןu.vin.ya.MinH1144,and out of the citiesהֶ֣עָרִ֔יםhe.'a.RimH5892which he had takenלָכַ֖דla.KhadH3920from mountמֵהַ֣רme.HarH2022Ephraimאֶפְרָ֑יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669,and renewedוַיְחַדֵּשׁ֙vay.cha.DeshH2318the altarמִזְבַּ֣חmiz.BachH4196of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, that wasbeforeלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440the porchאוּלָ֥ם'u.LamH197of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
