23Then Solomonשְׁ֠לֹמֹהShe.lo.mohH8010sat onוַיֵּ֣שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427the throneכִּסֵּ֨אki.Se'H3678of the Lordיְהוָ֧ה׀Yah.wehH3068as kingלְמֶ֛לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428instead of Davidדָּוִ֥ידda.VidH1732his fatherאָבִ֖יו'a.VivH1,and prosperedוַיַּצְלַ֑חvai.yatz.LachH6743;and all Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478obeyedוַיִּשְׁמְע֥וּvai.yish.me.'UH8085him.
24And all the princesהַשָּׂרִים֙ha.sa.RimH8269,and the mighty menוְהַגִּבֹּרִ֔יםve.hag.gi.bo.RimH1368,and all the sonsבְּנֵ֖יbe.NeiH1121likewise of kingהַמֶּ֣לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִ֑ידda.VidH1732,submitted themselvesנָ֣תְנוּ יָ֔ד תַּ֖חַתNa.te.nu Yad Ta.chatH8478H3027H5414unto Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֥הshe.lo.MohH8010the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.
25And the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068magnifiedוַיְגַדֵּ֨לvay.ga.DelH1431Solomonשְׁלֹמֹה֙she.lo.MohH8010exceedinglyלְמַ֔עְלָהle.Ma'.lahH4605in the sightלְעֵינֵ֖יle.'ei.NeiH5869of all Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and bestowedוַיִּתֵּ֤ןvai.yi.TenH5414upon him suchroyalמַלְכ֔וּתmal.KhutH4438majestyה֣וֹדHodH1935as had not been on any kingמֶ֛לֶךְMe.lekhH4428beforeלְפָנָ֖יוle.fa.NavH6440him in Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פYis.ra.'ElH3478.
27And the timeוְהַיָּמִ֗יםve.hai.ya.MimH3117that he reignedמָלַךְ֙ma.laKhH4427over Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478wasfortyאַרְבָּעִ֖ים'ar.ba.'ImH705yearsשָׁנָ֑הsha.NahH8141;sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651yearsשָׁנִ֔יםsha.NimH8141reignedמָלַךְ֙ma.laKhH4427he in Hebronבְּחֶבְר֤וֹןbe.chev.RonH2275,and thirtyשְׁלֹשִׁ֥יםshe.lo.ShimH7970and threeוְשָׁלֽוֹשׁ׃ve.sha.Lo.oshH7969yearsreignedמָלַ֖ךְma.LakhH4427he in Jerusalemוּבִירוּשָׁלִַ֥םu.vi.ru.sha.LimH3389.
28And he diedוַיָּ֙מָת֙vai.Ya.motH4191in a goodטוֹבָ֔הto.VahH2896old ageבְּשֵׂיבָ֣הbe.sei.VahH7872,fullשְׂבַ֥עse.Va'H7649of daysיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117,richesעֹ֣שֶׁר'O.sherH6239,and honourוְכָב֑וֹדve.kha.VodH3519:and Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֥הshe.lo.MohH8010his sonבְנ֖וֹve.NoH1121reignedוַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְvai.yim.LokhH4427in his stead.
