Amos 7:14-17
14“IH595H3808 was notH38081 a prophetH5030,” AmosH5986 repliedH6030, “nor was I the sonH11212 of a prophetH5030; ratherH3588, IH595 was a herdsmanH951 and a tenderH1103 of sycamore-fig treesH8256. 15But the LORDH3068 took meH3947 from followingH310 the flockH6629 and saidH559 to meH413H3068, ‘GoH1980, prophesyH5012 toH413 My peopleH5971 IsraelH3478.’
16Now, thereforeH6258, hearH8085 the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068. YouH859 sayH559:
‘Do notH3808 prophesyH5012 againstH5921 IsraelH3478;do notH3808 preachH5197 againstH5921 the houseH1004 of IsaacH3446.’
17ThereforeH3651 this is whatH3541 the LORDH3068 saysH559:
‘Your wifeH802 will become a prostituteH2181 in the cityH5892,and your sonsH1121 and daughtersH1323 will fallH5307 by the swordH2719.Your landH127 will be dividedH2505 by a measuring lineH2256,and you yourselfH859 will dieH4191 onH5921 paganH29313 soilH127.And IsraelH3478 will surely go into exileH1540,away fromH5921 their homelandH127.’”
