1And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872 and unto AaronH175, sayingH559, 2TakeH5375 the sumH7218 of the sonsH1121 of KohathH6955 from among the sonsH1121 of LeviH3881, by their familiesH4940, by their fathers’H1 housesH1004, 3from thirtyH7970 yearsH8141 oldH1121 and upwardH4605 evenH5704 untilH5704 fiftyH2572 yearsH8141 oldH1121, allH3605 that enterH935 uponH935 the serviceH6635, to doH6213 the workH4399 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150. 4This is the serviceH5656 of the sonsH1121 of KohathH6955 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150, about the mostH6944 holyH6944 things: 5when the campH4264 setteth forwardH935, AaronH175 shall goH935 in, and his sonsH1121, and they shall takeH935 downH3381 the veilH6532 of the screenH4539, and coverH3680 the arkH727 of the testimonyH5715 with it: 6and shall putH5414 thereonH5921 a coveringH3681 of sealskin, and shall spreadH6566 over it a clothH899 allH3632 of blueH8504, and shall putH5414 in the staves thereof. 7And uponH5921 the tableH7979 of shewbread they shall spreadH6566 a clothH899 of blueH8504, and putH5414 thereonH5921 the dishesH7086, and the spoonsH3709, and the bowlsH4518, and the cups to pour outH6440 withal: and the continualH8548 breadH3899 shall be thereonH5921: 8and they shall spreadH6566 uponH5921 them a clothH899 of scarletH8144, and coverH3680 the sameH853 with a coveringH4372 of sealskin, and shall putH7760 in the staves thereof. 9And they shall takeH3947 a clothH899 of blueH8504, and coverH3680 the candlestick of the lightH3974, and itsH3605 lampsH5216, and itsH3605 tongsH4457, and itsH3605 snuffdishes, and allH3605 the oilH8081 vesselsH3627 thereof, wherewith they ministerH8334 unto it: 10and they shall putH5414 it and allH3605 the vesselsH3627 thereof withinH5921 a coveringH4372 of sealskin, and shall putH5414 it uponH5921 the frame. 11And uponH5921 the goldenH2091 altarH4196 they shall spreadH6566 a clothH899 of blueH8504, and coverH3680 it with a coveringH4372 of sealskin, and shall putH7760 in the staves thereof: 12and they shall takeH3947 allH3605 the vesselsH3627 of ministry, wherewith they ministerH8334 in the sanctuaryH6944, and putH5414 them in a clothH899 of blueH8504, and coverH3680 them with a coveringH4372 of sealskin, and shall putH5414 them on the frame. 13And they shall takeH1878 awayH1878 the ashesH1878 from the altarH4196, and spreadH6566 a purpleH713 clothH899 thereonH5921: 14and they shall putH5414 uponH5921 it allH3605 the vesselsH3627 thereof, wherewith they ministerH8334 aboutH5921 it, the firepansH4289, the fleshhooks, and the shovelsH3257, and the basons, allH3605 the vesselsH3627 of the altarH4196; and they shall spreadH6566 uponH5921 it a coveringH3681 of sealskin, and putH5414 in the staves thereof. 15And when AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 have madeH3605 an endH3615 of coveringH3680 the sanctuaryH6944, and allH3605 the furnitureH3627 of the sanctuaryH6944, as the campH4264 is to setH5265 forwardH935; afterH310 that, the sonsH1121 of KohathH6955 shall comeH935 to bearH5375 it: but they shall notH3808 touchH5060 the sanctuaryH6944, lest they dieH4191. TheseH428 things are the burdenH4853 of the sonsH1121 of KohathH6955 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150. 16And the charge of EleazarH499 the sonH1121 of AaronH175 the priestH3548 shall be the oilH8081 for the lightH3974, and the sweetH5561 incenseH7004, and the continualH8548 mealH4503 offering, and the anointingH4888 oilH8081, the charge of allH3605 the tabernacleH4908, and of allH3605 that therein is, the sanctuaryH6944, and the furnitureH3627 thereof. 17And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872 and unto AaronH175, sayingH559, 18CutH3772 ye notH408 offH3772 the tribeH7626 of the familiesH4940 of the KohathitesH6956 from among the LevitesH3881: 19but thusH4191 doH6213 unto them, that they may liveH2421, and notH3808 dieH4191, when they approachH5066 unto the mostH6944 holyH6944 things: AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 shall goH935 in, and appointH7760 them everyH376 one to his serviceH5656 and to his burdenH4853: 20but they shall notH3808 goH935 in to seeH7200 the sanctuaryH6944 evenH3808 for a momentH1104, lest they dieH4191. 21And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 22TakeH5375 the sumH7218 of the sonsH1121 of GershonH1648 also, by their fathers’H1 housesH1004, by their familiesH4940; 23from thirtyH7970 yearsH8141 oldH1121 and upwardH4605 untilH5704 fiftyH2572 yearsH8141 oldH1121 shalt thou numberH6485 them; allH3605 that enterH935 in to wait uponH935 the serviceH5656, to doH5647 the workH5656 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150. 24This is the serviceH5656 of the familiesH4940 of the GershonitesH1649, in servingH5647 and in bearing burdens: 25they shall bearH5375 the curtainsH3407 of the tabernacleH4908, and the tentH168 of meetingH4150, itsH853 coveringH4372, and the coveringH4372 of sealskin that is aboveH5921 uponH5921 it, and the screenH4539 for the doorH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150; 26and the hangingsH7050 of the courtH2691, and the screenH4539 for the doorH6607 of the gateH8179 of the courtH2691, whichH834 is by the tabernacleH4908 and by the altarH4196 roundH5439 aboutH5439, and their cordsH4340, and allH3605 the instrumentsH3627 of their serviceH5656, and whatsoeverH3605 shall be doneH6213 with them, therein shall they serveH5647. 27At the commandmentH6310 of AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 shall be allH3605 the serviceH5656 of the sonsH1121 of the GershonitesH1649, in allH3605 their burdenH4853, and in allH3605 their serviceH5656: and ye shall appointH6485 unto them in chargeH4931 allH3605 their burdenH4853. 28This is the serviceH5656 of the familiesH4940 of the sonsH1121 of the GershonitesH1649 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150: and their chargeH4931 shall be underH3027 the handH3027 of IthamarH385 the sonH1121 of AaronH175 the priestH3548. 29As for the sonsH1121 of MerariH4847, thou shalt numberH6485 them by their familiesH4940, by their fathers’H1 housesH1004; 30from thirtyH7970 yearsH8141 oldH1121 and upwardH4605 evenH5704 unto fiftyH2572 yearsH8141 oldH1121 shalt thou numberH6485 them, everyH3605 one that entereth uponH935 the serviceH5656, to doH5647 the workH5656 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150. 31And this is the chargeH4931 of their burdenH4853, according to allH3605 their serviceH5656 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150; the boards of the tabernacleH4908, and the barsH1280 thereof, and the pillarsH5982 thereof, and the socketsH134 thereof; 32and the pillarsH5982 of the courtH2691 roundH5439 aboutH5439, and their socketsH134, and their pins, and their cordsH4340, with allH3605 their instrumentsH3627, and with allH3605 their serviceH5656: and by nameH8034 ye shall appointH6485 the instrumentsH3627 of the chargeH4931 of their burdenH4853. 33This is the serviceH5656 of the familiesH4940 of the sonsH1121 of MerariH4847, accordingH3027 to allH3605 their serviceH5656, in the tentH168 of meetingH4150, underH3027 the handH3027 of IthamarH385 the sonH1121 of AaronH175 the priestH3548. 34And MosesH4872 and AaronH175 and the princesH5387 of the congregationH5712 numberedH6485 the sonsH1121 of the KohathitesH6956 by their familiesH4940, and by their fathers’H1 housesH1004, 35from thirtyH7970 yearsH8141 oldH1121 and upwardH4605 evenH5704 unto fiftyH2572 yearsH8141 oldH1121, everyH3605 one that enteredH935 uponH935 the serviceH5656, for workH5656 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150: 36and thoseH1961 that were numberedH6485 of them by their familiesH4940 were twoH3967 thousandH505 sevenH7651 hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572. 37TheseH428 are they that were numberedH6485 of the familiesH4940 of the KohathitesH6956, allH3605 that didH834 serveH5647 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150, whomH834 MosesH4872 and AaronH175 numberedH6485 accordingH5921 to the commandmentH6310 of the LORDH3068 by the handH3027 of MosesH4872. 38And thoseH1121 that were numberedH6485 of the sonsH1121 of GershonH1648, by their familiesH4940, and by their fathers’H1 housesH1004, 39from thirtyH7970 yearsH8141 oldH1121 and upwardH4605 evenH5704 unto fiftyH2572 yearsH8141 oldH1121, everyH3605 one that enteredH935 uponH935 the serviceH5656, for workH5656 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150, 40even thoseH1961 that were numberedH6485 of them, by their familiesH4940, by their fathers’H1 housesH1004, were twoH3967 thousandH505 and sixH8337 hundredH3967 and thirtyH7970. 41TheseH428 are they that were numberedH6485 of the familiesH4940 of the sonsH1121 of GershonH1648, allH3605 that didH834 serveH5647 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150, whomH834 MosesH4872 and AaronH175 numberedH6485 accordingH5921 to the commandmentH6310 of the LORDH3068. 42And thoseH1121 that were numberedH6485 of the familiesH4940 of the sonsH1121 of MerariH4847, by their familiesH4940, by their fathers’H1 housesH1004, 43from thirtyH7970 yearsH8141 oldH1121 and upwardH4605 evenH5704 unto fiftyH2572 yearsH8141 oldH1121, everyH3605 one that enteredH935 uponH935 the serviceH5656, for workH5656 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150, 44even thoseH1961 that were numberedH6485 of them by their familiesH4940, were threeH7969 thousandH505 and twoH3967 hundredH3967. 45TheseH428 are they that were numberedH6485 of the familiesH4940 of the sonsH1121 of MerariH4847, whomH834 MosesH4872 and AaronH175 numberedH6485 accordingH5921 to the commandmentH6310 of the LORDH3068 by the handH3027 of MosesH4872. 46AllH3605 thoseH3605 that were numberedH6485 of the LevitesH3881, whomH834 MosesH4872 and AaronH175 and the princesH5387 of IsraelH3478 numberedH6485, by their familiesH4940, and by their fathers’H1 housesH1004, 47from thirtyH7970 yearsH8141 oldH1121 and upwardH4605 evenH5704 unto fiftyH2572 yearsH8141 oldH1121, everyH3605 one that enteredH935 in to doH5647 the workH5656 of serviceH5656, and the workH5656 of bearing burdens in the tentH168 of meetingH4150, 48even thoseH1961 that were numberedH6485 of them, were eightH8083 thousandH505 and fiveH2568 hundredH3967 and fourscore. 49AccordingH5921 to the commandmentH6310 of the LORDH3068 they were numberedH6485 by the handH3027 of MosesH4872, everyH376 one accordingH5921 to his serviceH5656, and accordingH5921 to his burdenH4853: thus were they numberedH6485 of him, as the LORDH3068 commandedH6680 MosesH4872.
