Revised Version 1895

Leviticus 26:41-45

41I also walked contrary unto them, and broughtH935 them intoH935 the landH776 of their enemiesH341: ifH176 then their uncircumcisedH6189 heartH3824 be humbledH3665, and they then acceptH7521 of the punishmentH5771 of their iniquityH5771;

42then will I rememberH2142 my covenantH1285 with JacobH3290; and also my covenantH1285 with IsaacH3327, and also my covenantH1285 with AbrahamH85 will I rememberH2142; and I will rememberH2142 the landH776.

43The landH776 also shall be leftH5800 of them, and shall enjoyH7521 herH1602 sabbathsH7676, whileH5315 she lieth desolateH8074 without them; and they shall acceptH7521 of the punishmentH5771 of their iniquityH5771: becauseH3282, evenH853 becauseH3282 they rejectedH5800 my judgmentsH4941, and their soulH5315 abhorredH1602 my statutesH2708.

44And yet for allH3615 that, when they be in the landH776 of their enemiesH341, I will notH3808 rejectH3988 them, neitherH3808 will I abhorH1602 them, to destroyH3615 them utterly, and to breakH6565 my covenantH1285 with them: for I am the LORDH3068 their GodH430:

45but I will for their sakes rememberH2142 the covenantH1285 of their ancestorsH7223, whomH834 I broughtH3318 forthH3318 outH3318 of the landH776 of EgyptH4714 in the sightH5869 of the nationsH1471, that I might be their GodH430: I am the LORDH3068.
