Exodus 19:1-16
In the thirdH7992 monthH2320 afterH3117 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 were goneH3318 forthH3318 outH3318 of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, the sameH2088 dayH3117 cameH935 they intoH935 the wildernessH4057 of SinaiH5514.
And when they were departedH5265 from RephidimH7508, and were comeH935 to the wildernessH4057 of SinaiH5514, they pitchedH2583 in the wildernessH4057; and there IsraelH3478 campedH2583 beforeH5048 the mountH2022.
And MosesH4872 wentH5927 upH5927 unto GodH430, and the LORDH3068 calledH7121 unto him outH4480 of the mountainH2022, sayingH559, ThusH3541 shalt thou sayH559 to the houseH1004 of JacobH3290, and tellH5046 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478;
Ye have seenH7200 whatH834 I didH6213 unto the EgyptiansH4714, and howH834 I bare youH859 on eagles’H5404 wingsH3671, and broughtH935 youH859 unto myself.
NowH6258 therefore, ifH518 ye will obeyH8085 my voiceH6963 indeedH3588, and keepH8104 my covenantH1285, then ye shall be a peculiar treasureH5459 unto meH6963 from among allH3605 peoplesH5971: for allH3605 the earthH776 is mine:
and ye shall be unto meH413 a kingdomH4467 of priestsH3548, and an holyH6918 nationH1471. TheseH428 are the wordsH1697 whichH834 thou shalt speakH1696 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478.
And MosesH4872 cameH935 and calledH7121 for the eldersH2205 of the peopleH5971, and setH7760 beforeH6440 them allH3605 theseH428 wordsH1697 whichH834 the LORDH3068 commandedH6680 him.
And allH3605 the peopleH5971 answeredH559 togetherH3162, and saidH559, AllH3605 that the LORDH3068 hath spokenH1696 weH834 will doH6213. And MosesH4872 reportedH7725 the wordsH1697 of the peopleH5971 unto the LORDH3068.
And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto MosesH4872, LoH2009, I comeH935 unto thee in a thickH5645 cloudH6051, that the peopleH5971 may hearH8085 when I speakH1696 with thee, and may also believeH539 thee for everH5769. And MosesH4872 toldH5046 the wordsH1697 of the peopleH5971 unto the LORDH3068.
And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto MosesH4872, Go unto the peopleH5971, and sanctifyH6942 them todayH3117 and tomorrowH4279, and let them washH3526 their garmentsH8071,
and be readyH3559 againstH5921 the thirdH7992 dayH3117: for the thirdH7992 dayH3117 the LORDH3068 will comeH1961 downH3381 in the sightH5869 of allH3605 the peopleH5971 uponH5921 mountH2022 SinaiH5514.
And thou shalt setH1379 boundsH1379 unto the peopleH5971 roundH5439 aboutH5439, sayingH559, TakeH8104 heedH8104 to yourselves, that ye goH5927 not upH5927 intoH5927 the mountH2022, or touchH5060 the borderH7097 of it: whosoever toucheth the mountH2022 shall be surelyH4191 putH4191 to deathH4191:
noH3808 handH3027 shall touchH5060 him, but he shall surelyH3588 be stonedH5619, or shotH3384 throughH3027; whetherH518 it be beastH929 or manH376, it shall notH3808 liveH2421: when the trumpet soundeth longH4900, they shall comeH5927 upH5927 to the mountH2022.
And MosesH4872 wentH3381 downH3381 from the mountH2022 unto the peopleH5971, and sanctifiedH6942 the peopleH5971; and they washedH3526 their garmentsH8071.
And he saidH559 unto the peopleH5971, Be readyH3559 againstH413 the thirdH7969 dayH3117: comeH1961 notH408 nearH5066 a womanH802.
And it cameH1961 to passH1961 on the thirdH7992 dayH3117, when it was morningH1242, that there were thunders and lightningsH1300, and a thickH3515 cloudH6051 uponH5921 the mountH2022, and the voiceH6963 of a trumpetH7782 exceedingH3966 loudH2389; and allH3605 the peopleH5971 that were in the campH4264 trembledH2729.
