Revised Version 1895
Samuel 22:21-31
The LORDH3068 rewardedH1580 meH7725 accordingH3027 to my righteousnessH6666: accordingH3027 to the cleannessH1252 of my handsH3027 hath he recompensedH7725 meH7725.
For I have keptH8104 the waysH1870 of the LORDH3068, and have notH3808 wickedlyH7561 departedH7561 from my GodH430.
For allH3605 his judgmentsH4941 were beforeH5048 meH4480: and as for his statutesH2708, I didH3808 notH3808 departH5493 from them.
I was also perfectH8549 toward him, and I keptH8104 myself from mine iniquityH5771.
Therefore hath the LORDH3068 recompensedH7725 meH7725 according to my righteousnessH6666; according to my cleannessH1252 in his eyesightH5869.
With the mercifulH2623 thou wilt shew thyself mercifulH2623, with the perfectH8549 manH1368 thou wilt shew thyself perfectH8549;
With the pureH1305 thou wilt shew thyself pureH1305; and with the perverseH6141 thou wilt shew thyself froward.
And the afflictedH6041 peopleH5971 thou wilt saveH3467: but thine eyesH5869 are uponH5921 the haughtyH7311, that thou mayest bringH8213 them downH8213.
For thou art my lampH5216, O LORDH3068: and the LORDH3068 will lighten my darknessH2822.
For by thee I runH7323 upon a troopH1416: by my GodH430 do I leapH1801 over a wallH7791.
As for GodH410, his wayH1870 is perfectH8549: the wordH565 of the LORDH3068 is triedH6884; he is a shieldH4043 unto allH3605 them that trust in him.
