Samuel 15:11-22

And with AbsalomH53 wentH1980 twoH3808 hundredH3967 menH376 outH3045 of JerusalemH3389, that were invitedH7121, and wentH1980 in their simplicity; and they knewH3045 notH3808 anyH3605 thingH1697.

And AbsalomH53 sentH7971 for AhithophelH302 the GiloniteH1526, David’sH1732 counsellor, from his cityH5892, evenH853 from GilohH1542, whileH1961 he offeredH2076 the sacrificesH2077. And the conspiracyH7195 was strongH533; for the peopleH5971 increased continuallyH1980 with AbsalomH53.

And there cameH935 a messengerH5046 to DavidH1732, sayingH559, The heartsH3820 of the menH376 of IsraelH3478 are afterH310 AbsalomH53.

And DavidH1732 saidH559 unto allH3605 his servantsH5650 that were with him at JerusalemH3389, AriseH6965, and letH1961 usH5921 fleeH1272; for elseH6435 noneH3808 of usH5921 shall escapeH6413 from AbsalomH53: makeH6965 speedH4116 to depart, lestH6435 he overtakeH5381 usH5921 quicklyH4116, and bringH4116 downH5221 evilH7451 uponH5921 usH5921, and smiteH5221 the cityH5892 with the edgeH6310 of the swordH2719.

And the king’sH4428 servantsH5650 saidH559 unto the kingH4428, BeholdH2009 thy servantsH5650 are ready to doH3605 whatsoeverH3605 my lordH113 the kingH4428 shall chooseH977.

And the kingH4428 wentH3318 forthH3318, and allH3605 his householdH1004 afterH7272 him, And the kingH4428 leftH3318 tenH6235 womenH802, whichH802 were concubinesH6370, to keepH8104 the houseH1004.

And the kingH4428 wentH3318 forthH3318, and allH3605 the peopleH5971 afterH7272 him; and they tarried in Beth-merhak.

And allH3605 his servantsH5650 passedH5674 on besideH5921 him; and allH3605 the CherethitesH3774, and allH3605 the PelethitesH6432, and allH3605 the GittitesH1663, sixH8337 hundredH3967 menH376 whichH834 cameH935 afterH5921 him from GathH1661, passedH5674 on beforeH6440 the kingH4428.

Then saidH559 the kingH4428 to IttaiH863 the GittiteH1663, Wherefore goest thou also with usH413? returnH7725, and abideH3427 with the kingH4428: for thou art a strangerH5237, and also an exileH1540; returnH7725 to thine ownH5973 placeH4725.

Whereas thou camest but yesterdayH8543, should I this dayH3117 makeH7725 thee goH1980 upH5921 and downH1980 with usH5921, seeing I goH1980 whither I may? returnH7725 thou, and takeH7725 backH7725 thy brethrenH251; mercy and truthH571 be with thee.

And IttaiH863 answeredH559 the kingH4428, and saidH559, As the LORDH3068 liveth, and as my lordH3068 the kingH4428 liveth, surelyH3588 in whatH834 placeH4725 my lordH3068 the kingH4428 shall be, whetherH518 for deathH4194 or for lifeH2416, evenH3588 there also will thy servantH5650 be.

And DavidH1732 saidH559 to IttaiH863, GoH5674 and passH5674 over. And IttaiH863 the GittiteH1663 passedH5674 over and allH3605 his menH376, and allH3605 the littleH2945 onesH2945 that were with him.
