Kings 9:11-28

Then JehuH3058 cameH935 forthH3318 to the servantsH5650 of his lordH113: and one saidH559 unto him, Is allH3045 wellH7965? wherefore cameH935 this madH7696 fellowH376 to thee? And he saidH559 unto them, Ye knowH3045 the manH376 and whatH2088 his talkH7879 was.

And they saidH559, It is falseH8267; tellH5046 usH4994 nowH4994. And he saidH559, ThusH3541 and thusH3541 spake he to meH413, sayingH559, ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, I have anointedH4886 thee kingH4428 over IsraelH3478.

Then they hasted, and tookH3947 everyH376 manH376 his garmentH899, and putH7760 it underH8478 him on the top of the stairs, and blewH8628 the trumpetH7782, sayingH559, JehuH3058 is kingH4427.

SoH1961 JehuH3058 the sonH1121 of JehoshaphatH3092 the sonH1121 of NimshiH5250 conspiredH7194 againstH413 JoramH3141. (NowH1961 JoramH3141 keptH8104 Ramoth-gileadH7433, he and allH3605 IsraelH3478, becauseH6440 of HazaelH2371 kingH4428 of SyriaH758:

but kingH4428 JoramH3088 was returnedH7725 to be healedH7495 in JezreelH3157 of the woundsH4347 whichH834 the Syrians had given him, when he foughtH3898 with HazaelH2371 kingH4428 of SyriaH758.) And JehuH3058 saidH559, IfH518 this be your mindH5315, then letH408 noneH408 escapeH3318 and goH3318 forthH3318 outH3318 of the cityH5892, to goH3318 to tellH5046 it in JezreelH3157.

SoH3588 JehuH3058 rodeH7392 in a chariotH7392, and wentH3381 to JezreelH3157; for JoramH3141 layH7901 there. And AhaziahH274 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 was comeH3381 downH3381 to seeH7200 JoramH3141.

NowH935 the watchmanH6822 stoodH5975 on the towerH4026 in JezreelH3157, and he spied the companyH8229 of JehuH3058 as he cameH935, and saidH559, I seeH7200 a companyH8229. And JoramH3088 saidH559, TakeH3947 an horsemanH7395, and sendH7971 to meetH7125 them, and letH7971 him sayH559, Is it peaceH7965?

SoH3541 there wentH935 one on horsebackH5483 to meetH7125 him, and saidH559, ThusH3541 saith the kingH4428, Is it peaceH7965? And JehuH3058 saidH559, WhatH4100 hast thou to doH4100 with peaceH7965? turnH7725 thee behindH310 meH413. And the watchmanH6822 toldH5046, sayingH559, The messengerH4397 cameH935 to them, but he cometh notH3808 againH7725.

Then he sentH7971 outH7971 a secondH8145 on horsebackH5483, whichH4100 cameH935 to them, and saidH559, ThusH3541 saith the kingH4428, Is it peaceH7965? And JehuH3058 answeredH559, WhatH4100 hast thou to doH4100 with peaceH7965? turnH5437 thee behindH310 meH413.

And the watchmanH6822 toldH5046, sayingH559, He cameH935 evenH5704 unto them, and cometh notH3808 againH7725: and the drivingH4491 is like the drivingH4491 of JehuH3058 the sonH1121 of NimshiH5250; for he driveth furiouslyH7697.

And JoramH3088 saidH559, Make readyH631. And they madeH631 readyH631 his chariotH7393. And JoramH3088 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 and AhaziahH274 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 wentH3318 outH3318, eachH376 in his chariotH7393, and they wentH3318 outH3318 to meetH7125 JehuH3058, and foundH4672 him in the portionH2513 of NabothH5022 the JezreeliteH3158.

And it cameH1961 to passH1961, when JoramH3088 sawH7200 JehuH3058, that he saidH559, Is it peaceH7965, JehuH3058? And he answeredH559, WhatH4100 peaceH7965, soH1961 longH5704 as the whoredoms of thy motherH517 JezebelH348 and herH7200 witchcraftsH3785 are soH1961 manyH7227?

And JoramH3088 turnedH2015 his handsH3027, and fledH5127, and saidH559 to AhaziahH274, There is treacheryH4820, O AhaziahH274.

And JehuH3058 drewH4390 his bowH7198 with his fullH4390 strengthH2220, and smoteH5221 JoramH3088 betweenH996 his armsH2220, and the arrowH2678 wentH3318 outH3318 at his heartH3820, and he sunk downH5221 in his chariotH7393.

Then saidH559 JehuH559 to BidkarH920 his captain, TakeH5375 upH5375, and castH7993 him in the portionH2513 of the fieldH7704 of NabothH5022 the JezreeliteH3158: for rememberH2142 howH3588 that, when I and thou rodeH7392 togetherH5921 afterH310 AhabH256 his fatherH1, the LORDH3068 laidH5375 this burdenH4853 uponH5921 him;

SurelyH518 I have seenH7200 yesterdayH570 the bloodH1818 of NabothH5022, and the bloodH1818 of his sonsH1121, saith the LORDH3068; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORDH3068. NowH6258 therefore takeH5375 and castH7993 him intoH7993 the plat of ground, according to the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068.

But when AhaziahH274 the kingH4428 of JudahH3063 sawH7200 this, he fledH5127 by the wayH1870 of the gardenH1588 houseH1004. An JehuH3058 followedH310 afterH310 him, and saidH559, SmiteH5221 him also in the chariotH4818: and they smoteH5221 him at the ascentH4608 of GurH1483, whichH834 is by IbleamH2991. And he fledH5127 to MegiddoH4023, and diedH4191 there.

And his servantsH5650 carriedH7392 him in a chariotH7392 to JerusalemH3389, and buriedH6912 him in his sepulchre with his fathersH1 in the cityH5892 of DavidH1732.
