2 Kings 9:1-14
1And ElishaH477 the prophetH5030 calledH7121 one of the sonsH1121 of the prophetsH5030, and saidH559 unto him, GirdH2296 upH1121 thy loinsH4975, and takeH3947 this vial of oilH8081 in thine handH3027, and go to Ramoth-gileadH7433.
2And when thou comest thither, lookH7200 outH7200 there JehuH3058 the sonH1121 of JehoshaphatH3092 the sonH1121 of NimshiH5250, and goH935 in, and makeH7200 him ariseH6965 upH6965 from among his brethrenH251, and carryH6965 him to an innerH2315 chamberH2315.
3Then takeH3947 the vial of oilH8081, and pourH3332 it on his headH7218, and sayH559, ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, I have anointedH4886 thee kingH4428 over IsraelH3478. Then openH6605 the doorH1817, and fleeH5127, and tarry notH3808.
4So the youngH5288 manH5288, even the youngH5288 manH5288 the prophetH5030, went to Ramoth-gileadH7433.
5And when he cameH935, beholdH2009, the captainsH8269 of the host were sittingH3427; and he saidH559, I have an errand to thee, O captainH8269. And JehuH3058 saidH559, Unto whichH4310 of allH3605 usH413? And he saidH559, To thee, O captainH8269.
6And he aroseH6965, and wentH935 intoH413 the houseH1004; and he pouredH3332 the oilH8081 on his headH7218, and saidH559 unto him, ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, I have anointedH4886 thee kingH4428 over the peopleH5971 of the LORDH3068, evenH3541 over IsraelH3478.
7And thou shalt smiteH5221 the houseH1004 of AhabH256 thy masterH113, that I may avengeH5358 the bloodH1818 of my servantsH5650 the prophetsH5030, and the bloodH1818 of allH3605 the servantsH5650 of the LORDH3068, at the handH3027 of JezebelH348.
8For the wholeH3605 houseH1004 of AhabH256 shall perishH6: and I will cutH3772 offH3772 from AhabH256 everyH3605 manH3605 child, and him that is shutH6113 upH3605 and him that is leftH5800 at largeH1004 in IsraelH3478.
9And I will makeH5414 the houseH1004 of AhabH256 like the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379 the sonH1121 of NebatH5028, and like the houseH1004 of BaashaH1201 the sonH1121 of AhijahH281.
10And the dogsH3611 shall eatH398 JezebelH348 in the portionH2506 of JezreelH3157, and there shall be noneH369 to buryH6912 herH398. And he openedH6605 the doorH1817, and fledH5127.
11Then JehuH3058 cameH935 forthH3318 to the servantsH5650 of his lordH113: and one saidH559 unto him, Is allH3045 wellH7965? wherefore cameH935 this madH7696 fellowH376 to thee? And he saidH559 unto them, Ye knowH3045 the manH376 and whatH2088 his talkH7879 was.
12And they saidH559, It is falseH8267; tellH5046 usH4994 nowH4994. And he saidH559, ThusH3541 and thusH3541 spake he to meH413, sayingH559, ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, I have anointedH4886 thee kingH4428 over IsraelH3478.
13Then they hasted, and tookH3947 everyH376 manH376 his garmentH899, and putH7760 it underH8478 him on the top of the stairs, and blewH8628 the trumpetH7782, sayingH559, JehuH3058 is kingH4427.
14SoH1961 JehuH3058 the sonH1121 of JehoshaphatH3092 the sonH1121 of NimshiH5250 conspiredH7194 againstH413 JoramH3141. (NowH1961 JoramH3141 keptH8104 Ramoth-gileadH7433, he and allH3605 IsraelH3478, becauseH6440 of HazaelH2371 kingH4428 of SyriaH758:
