2 Kings 25:1-12

1And it cameH935 to passH935 in the ninthH8671 yearH8141 of his reignH4427, in the tenthH6224 monthH2320, in the tenthH6224 dayH2320 of the monthH2320, that NebuchadnezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894 cameH935, he and allH3605 his armyH2428, againstH5921 JerusalemH3389, and encampedH2583 againstH5921 it; and they builtH1129 forts againstH5921 it roundH5439 aboutH1961.

2SoH935 the cityH5892 was besiegedH4692 unto the eleventhH6240 yearH8141 of kingH4428 ZedekiahH6667.

3On the ninthH8672 dayH2320 of the fourth monthH2320 the famineH7458 was sore in the cityH5892, soH1961 that there was noH3808 breadH3899 for the peopleH5971 of the landH776.

4Then a breachH1234 was madeH3605 in the cityH5892, and allH3605 the menH376 of warH4421 fled by nightH3915 by the wayH1870 of the gateH8179 betweenH996 the twoH2346 wallsH2346, whichH834 was by the king’sH4428 gardenH1588: (now the ChaldeansH3778 were againstH5921 the cityH5892 roundH5439 aboutH5439:) and the kingH4428 wentH376 by the wayH1870 of the ArabahH6160.

5But the armyH2428 of the ChaldeansH3778 pursuedH7291 afterH310 the kingH4428, and overtookH5381 him in the plainsH6160 of JerichoH3405: and allH3605 his armyH2428 was scatteredH6327 from him.

6Then they tookH8610 the kingH4428, and carriedH5927 him upH5927 unto the kingH4428 of BabylonH894 to RiblahH7247; and they gave judgmentH4941 uponH413 him.

7And they slewH7819 the sonsH1121 of ZedekiahH6667 beforeH5869 his eyesH5869, and putH935 outH935 the eyesH5869 of ZedekiahH6667, and boundH631 him in fettersH5178, and carriedH935 him to BabylonH894.

8NowH7227 in the fifthH2549 monthH2320, on the seventhH7651 dayH2320 of the monthH2320, whichH1931 was the nineteenth yearH8141 of kingH4428 NebuchadnezzarH5019, kingH4428 of BabylonH894, cameH935 NebuzaradanH5018 the captainH7227 of the guardH2876, a servantH5650 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894, unto JerusalemH3389:

9And he burntH8313 the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068, and the king’sH4428 houseH1004; and allH3605 the housesH1004 of JerusalemH3389, evenH853 everyH3605 greatH1419 houseH1004, burntH8313 he with fireH784.

10And allH3605 the armyH2428 of the ChaldeansH3778, that were with the captainH7227 of the guardH2876, brake downH5422 the wallsH2346 of JerusalemH3389 roundH5439 aboutH5439.

11And the residue of the peopleH5971 that were leftH7604 in the cityH5892, and thoseH834 that fellH5307 awayH1540, that fellH5307 to the kingH4428 of BabylonH894, and the residue of the multitudeH1995, didH834 NebuzaradanH5018 the captainH7227 of the guardH2876 carryH1540 awayH1540 captiveH1540.

12But the captainH7227 of the guardH2876 leftH7604 of the poorest of the landH776 to be vinedressersH3755 and husbandmen.
