So JehoiakimH3079 sleptH7901 with his fathersH1: and JehoiachinH3078 his sonH1121 reignedH4427 in his steadH8478.
And the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 cameH1961 notH3808 againH5750 anyH3605 moreH5750 outH3318 of his landH776: for the kingH4428 of BabylonH894 had takenH3947, from the brookH5158 of EgyptH4714 unto the riverH5104 EuphratesH6578, allH3605 that pertained to the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714.
JehoiachinH3078 was eighteenH6240 yearsH8141 oldH1121 when he began to reignH4427; and he reignedH4427 in JerusalemH3389 threeH7969 monthsH2320: and his mother’sH517 nameH8034 was Nehushta the daughterH1323 of ElnathanH494 of JerusalemH3389.
And he didH6213 that whichH834 was evilH7451 in the sightH5869 of the LORDH3068, according to allH3605 that his fatherH1 had doneH6213.
At that time the servantsH5650 of NebuchadnezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894 cameH935 upH5927 to JerusalemH3389, and the cityH5892 was besiegedH4692.
And NebuchadnezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894 cameH935 unto the cityH5892, whileH5921 his servantsH5650 were besiegingH5921 it;
and JehoiachinH3078 the kingH4428 of JudahH3063 wentH3318 outH3318 to the kingH4428 of BabylonH894, he, and his motherH517, and his servantsH5650, and his princesH8269, and his officersH8269: and the kingH4428 of BabylonH894 tookH3947 him in the eighthH8083 yearH8141 of his reignH4427.
And he carriedH3318 outH3318 thence allH3605 the treasuresH214 of the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068, and the treasuresH214 of the king’sH4428 houseH1004, and cutH7112 in piecesH7112 allH3605 the vesselsH3627 of goldH2091 whichH834 SolomonH8010 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 had madeH6213 in the templeH1004 of the LORDH3068, as the LORDH3068 had saidH1696.
And he carriedH1540 awayH1540 allH3605 JerusalemH3389, and allH3605 the princesH8269, and allH3605 the mightyH1368 menH1368 of valour, evenH3808 tenH6235 thousandH505 captivesH1540, and allH3605 the craftsmenH2796 and the smithsH4525; noneH3808 remainedH7604, save the poorest sort of the peopleH5971 of the landH776.
And he carriedH1540 awayH1540 JehoiachinH3078 to BabylonH894; and the king’sH4428 motherH517, and the king’sH4428 wivesH802, and his officersH5631, and the chief men of the landH776, carriedH1540 he intoH1540 captivityH1540 from JerusalemH3389 to BabylonH894.
