Revised Version 1895

Kings 21:10-18

And the LORDH3068 spake by his servantsH5650 the prophetsH5030, sayingH559,

BecauseH3282 ManassehH4519 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 hath doneH6213 theseH428 abominationsH8441, and hath doneH6213 wickedly aboveH6440 allH3605 that the AmoritesH567 didH6213, whichH834 were beforeH6440 him, and hath madeH6213 JudahH3063 also to sinH2398 with his idolsH1544:

therefore thusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, BeholdH2005, I bringH935 suchH3651 evilH7451 uponH5921 JerusalemH3389 and JudahH3063, that whosoever heareth of it, bothH8147 his earsH241 shall tingleH6750.

And I will stretchH5186 over JerusalemH3389 the lineH6440 of SamariaH8111, and the plummetH4949 of the houseH1004 of AhabH256: and I will wipeH4229 JerusalemH3389 as a man wipeth a dishH6747, wiping it and turningH2015 it upside downH5186.

And I will castH5414 offH5414 the remnantH7611 of mine inheritanceH5159, and deliverH5414 them intoH3027 the handH3027 of their enemiesH341; and they shall becomeH1961 a preyH957 and a spoilH957 to allH3605 their enemiesH341;

becauseH4480 they have doneH6213 that whichH834 is evilH7451 in my sightH5869, and have provokedH3707 meH4480 to angerH3707, sinceH4480 the dayH3117 their fathersH1 cameH1961 forthH3318 outH3318 of EgyptH4714, evenH5704 unto this dayH3117.

MoreoverH1571 ManassehH4519 shedH8210 innocentH5355 bloodH1818 veryH3966 muchH7235, tillH5704 he had filledH4390 JerusalemH3389 from one endH6310 to anotherH1571; beside his sinH2398 wherewith he madeH6213 JudahH3063 to sinH2398, in doingH6213 that whichH834 was evilH7451 in the sightH5869 of the LORDH3068,

NowH3117 the restH3499 of the actsH1697 of ManassehH4519, and allH3605 that he didH6213, and his sinH2398 that he sinnedH2398, are they notH3808 writtenH3789 in the bookH5612 of the chroniclesH1697 of the kingsH4428 of JudahH3063?

And ManassehH4519 sleptH7901 with his fathersH1, and was buriedH6912 in the gardenH1588 of his ownH5973 houseH1004, in the gardenH1588 of UzzaH5798: and AmonH526 his sonH1121 reignedH4427 in his steadH8478.
