Revised Version 1895
Kings 13:2-7
And he didH6213 that whichH834 was evilH7451 in the sightH5869 of the LORDH3068, and followedH310 the sinsH2398 of JeroboamH3379 the sonH1121 of NebatH5028, wherewith he madeH6213 IsraelH3478 to sinH2398; he departedH5493 notH3808 therefrom.
And the angerH639 of the LORDH3068 was kindledH2734 againstH2734 IsraelH3478, and he deliveredH5414 them intoH3027 the handH3027 of HazaelH2371 kingH4428 of SyriaH758, and intoH3027 the handH3027 of Ben-hadadH1130 the sonH1121 of HazaelH2371, continuallyH3117.
And JehoahazH3059 besought the LORDH3068, and the LORDH3068 hearkened unto him: for he sawH7200 the oppressionH3906 of IsraelH3478, howH3588 that the kingH4428 of SyriaH758 oppressedH3905 them.
(And the LORDH3068 gaveH5414 IsraelH3478 a saviour, soH5414 that they wentH3318 outH3318 from underH8478 the handH3027 of the Syrians: and the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 dweltH3427 in their tentsH168, as beforetime.
NeverthelessH389 they departedH1980 notH3808 from the sinsH2398 of the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379, wherewith he madeH1571 IsraelH3478 to sinH2398, but walkedH1980 therein: and there remainedH5975 the AsherahH842 also in SamariaH8111.)
For he leftH7604 notH3808 to JehoahazH3059 of the peopleH5971 save fiftyH2572 horsemenH6571, and tenH6235 chariotsH7393, and tenH6235 thousandH505 footmenH7273; for the kingH4428 of SyriaH758 destroyedH6 them, and madeH7760 them like the dustH6083 in threshingH1758.
