Kings 13:14-19
Now ElishaH477 was fallenH3381 sickH2470 of his sicknessH2483 whereof he diedH4191: and JoashH3101 the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 cameH3381 downH3381 unto him, and weptH1058 over him, and saidH559, My fatherH1, my fatherH1, the chariotsH7393 of IsraelH3478 and the horsemenH6571 thereof!
And ElishaH477 saidH559 unto him, TakeH3947 bowH7198 and arrowsH2671: and he tookH3947 unto him bowH7198 and arrowsH2671.
And he saidH559 to the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, PutH7760 thine handH3027 uponH5921 the bowH7198: and he putH7760 his handH3027 uponH5921 it. And ElishaH477 laidH7760 his handsH3027 uponH5921 the king’sH4428 handsH3027.
And he saidH559, OpenH6605 the windowH2474 eastwardH6924: and he openedH6605 it. Then ElishaH477 saidH559, ShootH3384: and he shotH3384. And he saidH559, The LORD’SH3068 arrowH2671 of victoryH8668, evenH5704 the arrowH2671 of victoryH8668 over SyriaH758: for thou shalt smiteH5221 the Syrians in AphekH663, tillH5704 thou have consumedH3615 them.
And he saidH559, TakeH3947 the arrowsH2678: and he tookH3947 them. And he saidH559 unto the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, SmiteH5221 upon the groundH776: and he smoteH5221 thrice, and stayedH5975.
And the manH376 of GodH430 was wroth with him, and saidH559, Thou shouldest have smittenH5221 fiveH2568 or sixH8337 timesH6471; then hadst thou smittenH5221 SyriaH758 tillH5704 thou hadst consumedH3615 it: whereasH6258 nowH6258 thou shalt smiteH5221 SyriaH758 but thrice.
