Revised Version 1895
Kings 15:21-33
And it cameH1961 to passH1961, when BaashaH1201 heardH8085 thereof, that he leftH1961 offH853 buildingH1129 of RamahH7414, and dweltH3427 in TirzahH8656.
Then kingH4428 AsaH609 madeH3605 a proclamationH8085 unto allH3605 JudahH3063; noneH369 was exempted: and they carriedH5375 awayH5375 the stonesH68 of RamahH7414, and the timberH6086 thereof, wherewith BaashaH1201 had builded; and kingH4428 AsaH609 builtH1129 therewith GebaH1387 of BenjaminH1144, and MizpahH4709.
NowH3117 the restH3499 of allH3605 the actsH1697 of AsaH609, and allH3605 his might, and allH3605 that he didH6213, and the citiesH5892 whichH834 he builtH1129, are they notH3808 writtenH3789 in the bookH5612 of the chroniclesH1697 of the kingsH4428 of JudahH3063? But in the time of his oldH2209 ageH3117 he was diseased in his feetH7272.
And AsaH609 sleptH7901 with his fathersH1, and was buriedH6912 with his fathersH1 in the cityH5892 of DavidH1732 his fatherH1: and JehoshaphatH3092 his sonH1121 reignedH4427 in his steadH8478.
And NadabH5070 the sonH1121 of JeroboamH3379 began to reignH4427 over IsraelH3478 in the secondH8147 yearH8141 of AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063, and he reignedH4427 over IsraelH3478 twoH8147 yearsH8141.
And he didH6213 that whichH834 was evilH7451 in the sightH5869 of the LORDH3068, and walked in the wayH1870 of his fatherH1, and in his sinH2398 wherewith he madeH6213 IsraelH3478 to sinH2398.
And BaashaH1201 the sonH1121 of AhijahH281, of the houseH1004 of IssacharH3485, conspiredH7194 againstH5921 him; and BaashaH1201 smoteH5221 him at GibbethonH1405, whichH834 belonged to the PhilistinesH6430; for NadabH5070 and allH3605 IsraelH3478 were laying siege to GibbethonH1405.
Even in the thirdH7969 yearH8141 of AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 did BaashaH1201 slayH4191 him, and reignedH4427 in his steadH8478.
And it cameH1961 to passH1961 that, as soon as he was kingH4427, he smoteH5221 allH3605 the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379; he leftH7604 notH3808 to JeroboamH3379 anyH3605 that breathedH5397, untilH5704 he had destroyedH8045 him; accordingH3027 unto the sayingH1697 of the LORDH3068, whichH834 he spake by the handH3027 of his servantH5650 AhijahH281 the ShiloniteH7888:
for the sinsH2398 of JeroboamH3379 whichH834 he sinnedH2398, and wherewith he madeH834 IsraelH3478 to sinH2398; becauseH5921 of his provocation wherewith he provokedH3707 the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, to angerH3707.
NowH3117 the restH3499 of the actsH1697 of NadabH5070, and allH3605 that he didH6213, are they notH3808 writtenH3789 in the hook of the chroniclesH1697 of the kingsH4428 of IsraelH3478?
And there was warH4421 betweenH996 AsaH609 and BaashaH1201 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 allH3605 their daysH3117.
In the thirdH7969 yearH8141 of AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 began BaashaH1201 the sonH1121 of AhijahH281 to reignH4427 over allH3605 IsraelH3478 in TirzahH8656, and reignedH4427 twentyH6242 and fourH702 yearsH8141.
